Matt, Confessional - Going into this, I want to be real, honest and just a morally ethical player and not make my time on the island a negative experience for me, and make it a learning experience.

Adaline, Confessional - Being on Survivor is going to be an experience like no other I've been to. It's going to really stretch my creative freedom and potentially be a time to press my braincells and really be cutthroat and… Sorta savage! Haha.
*ON THE HAN TRIBE BOAT*
-Clarissa’s hair blows in the wind, and she flips her hair back, while looking into the waters-
Clarissa, Confessional - I am a fairly ordinary basic early 20’s girl, I… love God and believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ, but I'm not a Jesus freak and I do see the logical side of life and the scientific side of science and medicine, so… I’ll bring in a moral strategy, but a logical strategy. Lies are needed in survivor, and I'll do the strategy and backstabbing, but I'll also pray every night for survival and peace and happiness.
-Colleen glares at Clarissa, with hatred in her eyes-
Colleen, Confessional - Have you ever looked at someone and just thought… “Bitch”? Cuz… Well, y'all caught me.. I am a HUGE one. I'm not a people person, correction. I'm a “I hate people” person. But, I can just TELL, Clarissa is a bitch. A fake one too. At least I'm a real one. I hate people and people know it. Clarissa is probably going to get into a showmance… With like 3 guys and then to her bitch squad, which won't be edited in, she’ll get a super sweetheart edit too, just watch… But, she’ll be like “OH MY GOD, I HATE MY BOYFRIENDS” plural, and… She’s just gonna SUCK. Y'all won't get it though cuz she's gonna get some sort of Jesus Worshipper edit.

Harry, Confessional - I do know I'm here for the right reasons, but it feels really wrong having to leave my family behind. It's only 39 days, I'll get my kids present when I return with the million… But, it sucks. It's really tough. It'll be a change of pace in my life.
-Tyra looks at the other castaways, judgement filling her eyes-
Tyra, Confessional - I honestly can not feel sympathy… With the amount of sad faces and depressed Nicholas Sparks aesthetic moments I see from these over dramatic… White privileged… Maximum 30 year olds I'm looking at. It's like their puppy just died, and I'm like… Were you kidnapped and forced to come here? I came here by choice and want to win, but… Obviously these people have a different agenda as they've been gone like 25 minutes and are already crying about it. AND I’M IN A BOAT WITH 3 MEN AND ONLY ONE OTHER WOMAN… Whiny bratty babies.

Robb, Confessional - I'm honestly pretty excited and nervous to be here. When I get nervous I have to talk to someone or I get anxiety, but… I'm gonna just not get too attached to too many people, as if I show too much attachment people will think I have alliances and I could be made into a social threat, so… I'm gonna be chill and just not blow anything up too soon by playing too hard… It’ll be all good!
-“Liv” is smiling and laughing to herself, excited to go on this adventure-
“Liv”, Confessional - I’m a party girl ONE HUNDRED percent… It’s totally groovy. I am going to spice things up a bit on this island. Hahahahahahahahaha! -smiles- It’ll be fun for sure.
*THE BOATS ARRIVE AT THE ISLAND TO BE GREETED BY HOST, JEFF PROBST*
Jeff - Castaways! You 20 all arrived on separate boats of 5. You all are standing on a different colored matt now, which are separated by colors. Those will be your tribe colors, and these will be your tribes! In front of your matt is a box that will give you buffs for your designated tribe.
-Tyra does not look amused-
Tyra, Confessional - This. Is. Hell. And bull….. Crap. I'm on a tribe of 3 men and 2 women. That's a gender imbalance, plus I'm an intimidating older black woman. The odds are STACKED against me, and I don't like it.
-Bill is smiling-
Bill, Confessional - I am… STOKED. I may be in poor physical condition, but… If I can pull off a guy alliance… Go me! I'm in! Hahahahahahahaha!
Jeff - Now… Before we get to camp… we need to decide which camp you get. With our very first reward challenge! The challenge that decided which camp you get.
-”Barbie” is seen smiling, excited about this challenge-
“Barbie”, Confessional - I AM READY. AS. HECK. I want the luxury camp with alcohol, booze, beer, wine, I don't care, even though that camp DOESN’T EXIST, I am NOT going to live in some swamp camp, our tribe is gonna get all the rewards, the cute camp, the fun camp basically. Our tribe is tribe FUN CAMP hahaha! So, yeah, we got this.
Jeff - The challenge is one person from each tribe will race to the other side of the island, where they will find a pile of skulls. They will break one skull open at a time, looking for an amulet inside. The first tribe back wins the camp with pre-made tents, fire supplies such as wood, flint and rice for eating AND fishing gear AND a machete. The second tribe back gets supplies to MAKE their own camp easier, fishing gear and flint. The third tribe back gets flint and rice. The last tribe back gets wood and flint. That's all. Tribes, pick your player!

Harry, Confessional - The girls I think are sorta intimidated due to our tribe having more males than females, and I'm sure the guys on the other tribe feel that way too. I probably would. But, I do have daughters, so maybe working with the younger girl would be nice as it'd be a learning experience. But, first, I need this challenge win.

Tyra - No, it's just they’re all boys… I sorta wish, especially on female dominated teams over there, there was female representation. Since, I'm 40. I'm obviously not going to step up, I wish I did this maybe 10 years ago, so I could at least contribute as a strong female, but… This works too, I guess.
-Starr rolls her eyes-
Starr, Confessional - That lady is a bitch. I could easily have competed in this, but I want to make myself appear… NOT as a huge female competition threat. If I beat 3 boys, that'd be a HUGE. RED. FLAG. She is all talk and no play, and… If I get far and get to merge with her… I'll be SHOCKED. Cuz, she should be gone, honestly, by day 10… Max… I bet it.
Jeff - Okay, ready… Set… GO!
-They all start running to the other side of the island-
-Eric is stumbling up the hill, starting to crawl-
Eric, Confessional - My logic is if I appear weak, yet capable, maybe getting like… 3rd in this challenge, I can slide by hardly noticed. We can survive with just flint and rice… But, I found out during this challenge….. These comps are MURDER. OUCH. My legs are dying. Damn!
-Eric starts trying to break open the skulls against a rock-
Eric, Confessional - These skulls too.. Hard as like… Diamonds. I couldn't break them to save my life.
-Behind him, Harry is seen running over, and smashing the skulls in with his feet-
Eric, Confessional - If I ever get in a fight with what's his face from whatever that tribe is….. I'm toast.
-Matt runs to the skulls and starts savagely crashing them open, as Eric still struggles-

Jonas, Confessional - We got the good tribe! Lit! Go Yung! I do wish our tribe had a bit… Younger people. Madison, I think her name is, is the only other one in her 20’s, and the only real potential comp competitors are really just Harry and Madi on our tribe, so…. I need to consider that before considering a guys alliance. But… I'll be considering that in the… LUXURY CAMP.
-Matt runs over a few moments later with his amulet-
Jeff - TEAM TARRA WINS THE CAMP AND FOOD SUPPLIES!
Cloé - AHHHHHHHH! -runs over and hugs him- BAE.
Matt, Confessional - Cloé and I…. May not get close in the infamously dubbed, Luxury Camp, but… Hopefully, in the still rather nice, not luxury camp. -smiles and crosses his fingers- Fingers crossed!
“Jazz”, Confessional - SOOO… I see these white, young, spunky fresh out of college kids already hugging and basically kissing, acting like they are lovers, when I can't even remember either of their names yet, and I'm just……. Dumbfounded. IT HASN’T EVEN BEEN AN HOUR. NOT EVEN A HALF HOUR. IT BEEN TEN MINUTES. They not making merge, they not making day seven... Puh-Lease.

Colleen, Confessional - I am honestly PISSED. I wanted the good camp, now flint and rice. Are you kidding me? Flint and rice sucks. This is not a reward, this is basically a punishment but… whatever. -rolls her eyes- At least we get rice. That's the only thing keeping us from being utter losers.
Starr, Confessional - I could be a little bitter right now, cuz… I know I could've done this challenge, win the good camp, prove bitchy lady wrong, and make myself proud and be able to prove my worth day one, but… Tyler got third… I thought he'd be a safer bet and he failed… A football player couldn't smash a few heads… Loser.

Colleen, Confessional - So… The blonde bimbo from before sits near me, with her Asian friend, and they sorta just act as if we're sorority girls drinking mai tai’s at a beach and that we've known each other for years and that this is just some vacation and… I am near appalled at how small minded these girls are… They're like assuming I have any interest talking to them in this game cuz we are female and hold majority. I'm…. Annoyed by that. But, I won't say anything… Yet.
Colleen fakely laughs - Hahahaha, so… Any thoughts on any of the guys yet?
Clarissa - I like Tyler, but really, I think since we have a shot at majority we should take it.

Starr, Confessional - So, Clarissa is already getting paranoid, but I CAN NOT afford to be like that, cuz if we go to tribal, Clarissa is by far safe, cuz she is, I won't lie, prettier than me, and flirtier… sluttier than me, she'd definitely be safe, unless I contribute in the challenge and SHE screws up… If our tribe goes to tribal and Colleen flips, Clarissa better be the vote NOT me… HOPEFULLY, it won't come down to that, but paranoia is already high, and we haven't even lost immunity yet… We won't though.

Cloé, Confessional - So, there has been a bit of a girls alliance going on. It's day 1, so it won't last long, but… You'd think Matt would wait until we lose the challenge, nope, he's already saying “let's vote off Cyrus” -long pause- Okay!

“Jazz”, Confessional - My problem with Cloé is… Besides the fact she's in a showmance 5 minutes in, SHE ALREADY PLANNING THE VOTE… we haven't lost ANYTHING yet and we hardly even settled. Get your life, girl. We haven't even discussed a girl alliance name. Don't get ahead. This is day 1, hardly, this bitch is playing day… 17… That's not flying with Jazzy.
Adaline, Confessional - I think Cloé has some points, but it's too soon to be whispering, plotting, aligning, especially when it's day 1 and we just got here. I want to relax. But, I think the problem is more Matt than Cloé. So… If we lose, I may get the votes to get Matt out over Cyrus, which will make Cloé VERY MAD… hopefully that doesn't happen, but worst case scenario planning is always good, in my opinion.

A day without a drink, is a day without happiness, so this is out of my element and I hope reward challenges have alcohol…. But, I'm realizing, strategically, me and Eric LOVE alcohol, and Liv and Jackson are both bartenders of sorts, so… An alcohol alliance may be forming.
-Robb is standing there, watching the alcohol people talking-
Robb, Confessional - I've never drank after my 21st birthday, it clouds my judgement and I like having my judgement all there, I'm not a party person, so seeing these people bond over it so much, worries me… I may be the odd man out, despite our tribe having a clear majority in men… Being on the outside isn't fun, so I hope this is just a fiasco.

Madison, Confessional - Me and Tyra already have become the bestest of friends, it's a few hours in, and it's pretty clear, there's a gender… imbalance? Like it's 3 to 2. That's not very good, and we managed to get the band of brothers guys that are all 28 or older… like, I can't use my sex appeal as a weapon.
-Jonas, Harry and Bill walk over-
Jonas - We were thinking we could do an introduction party to get to know one another!
Madison, Confessional - So, when Jonas says we're doing some sort of meet & greet, I was like… hehe… okay! Whatever you want. As if we have a chance. -rolls eyes- Yeah, whatever. BUT, Jonas could be my best chance at flirting my way into the majority. So… I'll take it.
Madison - I'm Madison. Not Madi, not Madeline. Madi. Son. And I'm aspiring to become a real teacher, but I'm a sub for now. And I am SINGLE. Ahahahha.
Harry, Confessional - Madison does sorta remind me of my 7 year old daughter. Not in a bad way or in a teasing her way. Madison reminds me as if my daughter was fully grown. Madison is sorta diva-ish, but, even though I know nothing about her, I believe has a good heart, so even if the guys want to pick these girls off, I do want Madison around.
Harry - I’m Harry and I'm a dentist. I'm a Father, I love my little girl with all my heart, she's my life. I'm 30.
Madison, Confessional - Harry, *giggles a lot* he's really hot for a 30 year old… literally he's gorgeous. I mean, like in a father figure, like… George Clooney kinda way. Tyra stands up - Y'all, I'm Tyra. I used to model, I was very successful, but I had a kid. I dedicated everything to my kid, he grew, he left me. Well, he got old and moved on, once he did, I became a very successful business woman, and am today a very successful worker and, you could be thinking “oh she doesn't deserve the money”, you can think that, but I'm here more to prove to myself I can do it. So, you came here for money, I came here for experience.
Madison - When did you see your son last?

Tyra, Confessional - Samuel moving away was tough and I try to stay in touch, but he's grown. He left. I moved on. I know he wishes it was different, but he's happy, he's got a wife, his own family…

Tyra, Confessional - My problem right now, if WE lose an IMMUNITY, which… look at our tribe. We're basically the old person tribe and Madison… Bill is the OBVIOUS pick, yes? Overage, out of shape, hasn't been to the gym since Obama’s first inauguration, he should be GONE… We are on a tribe where men have majority and there's a 40 year old black woman on it. Although I easily can contribute more than Bill, I'm as good as gone if we blow immunity…. That can NOT happen.
Bill - I have a wife, 3 lovely children, really… There's nothing more I can ask for… Besides a million dollars. HAHHAAHA!
Bill, Confessional - Social game is all I got right now. I'm not in good shape, I can't perform in challenges that well… Social game is not my best bet… It's my only bet.
Jonas - I'm Jonas and before I even say anything, I'm a homosexual.
Madison, Confessional, looking indifferent to upset - So… I had SO MANY EGGS in my Jonas basket, when he said homosexual I was just… I threw the dozen eggs on the ground and stepped all over em, that's ANNOYING…. just be straight, guy! -rolls eyes- Plan B… Non-existent.
I just need to pray we make it to a swap. Who knows when that could be.
Jonas - I am a guitar instructor and I'm 28. No kids, no boyfriend -winks at Harry-
-Harry laughs with the group, uncomfortably-
Harry, Confessional - Jonas isn't a flamboyant gay guy, which either way I don't have a problem with, but he's definitely a free spirit, and I've been flirted on by gay guys in the past, so it's not weird, but definitely I can sense him being a really… Strong personality. And if he plays his cards right, he could end up doing well, but if he doesn't he could end up going home really soon.
Jonas - And yeah! -smiles-

*THE NEXT DAY, IMMUNITY CHALLENGE*
-The tribes come out and stand on their platforms-
Jeff - For the first time ever, IMMUNITY is up for grabs… Here’s the challenge. The tribes will swim out to a boat. Once the entire tribe is on board their boat, one person at a time will dive down to retrieve paddles. Once they have all four paddles, they will race to shore, where they will convert their boat to a cart by attaching four wheels. They will then push their boat to the top of the beach. Once at the top, they will have start assembling a puzzle. The first three tribes to finish win immunity. Survivors ready? GO!
-The tribes run into the water and start swimming, some people faster than others, but the tribes are fairly even-
-Tribe Yung gets to the boat first and quickly Tyra dives in to get a paddle-
Jeff - TYRA WASTING ZERO TIME. SHE IS GETTING RIGHT IN THERE.
-Tribe Csez is at their boat quickly as well-
-Tribe Tarra and Han close behind-
-Tyra surfaces with a paddle and Madison dives in-

Jackson, CF : So… Eric has this idea of an alliance based on drinking problems and everyone seems in love with it, but I myself is very hesitant and nervous over this bit crazy plan, since….. It's only excluding one tribe mate and if we go to two tribals as a team… Rest In Peace one of us. I don't want it to be me so…. I won't argue.
Liv, CF - We formed an #AlcohoLiance and I get amazing vibes from all of them and… I think it'll be good! *smiles*
-Robb sits inside the camp sleeping area and turns his head seeing the rest of his tribe walk out from the woods-
Robb, CF - It's obvious they all are close, which leaves me on the outs… I don't like it. If their relationships have any holes, in the near future, a change needs to come cuz I'm at the bottom. With being safe this time around, I think it's a sign to start trying to make a secure alliance.
-Robb walks to Eric and Jackson-
Robb - Hey, so, the gender ratio this season for our tribe is 3 to 2, and I think we may probably be superior in these challenges, so, why not before we ever have to even think about ever going to tribal, we secure a solid 3 now, and if we do go to tribal, we can vote Barbie or Liv?
Eric - That sounds awesome!
Eric, CF - Robb comes over talking about a potential alliance and that's….. Amazing for me and Jackson, cuz… We have Barbie and Liv already on our side. We're perfectly in the middle. I'm leaning towards Team Alcohol, but… Either way I'm happy.
Jackson, CF - So… I don't know whether or not Eric is with Barbie & Liv or whether he's with Robb, but either way… I think I'm the third or fourth wheel in both situations, and that's not okay. But, we'll see how this turns out…. I'm safe for now.
Jackson - This is GREAT.

Madison, CF- Tyra & I have known each other for like less than 3 days and already have gotten along SPLENDIDLY. We're sorta already like… Support systems for each other. It's honestly amazing. She's my black mom sorta.

Tyra, CF - The men have clearly made an alliance and are going to get us out one by one if we don't get to a tribe swap soon. With 4 tribes of 5…. I have a ton of hope.

Colleen, Confessional - It was made clear to the girls at least today, I’m the swing vote… And, after Starr screwed the puzzle up earlier in the challenge, she probably will become a liability over time, so… All I have to do is talk to the guys more and see how they will work with me better and work to my advantage. I already hate Clarissa so writing her comp flop best friend down tonight at tribal, will NOT be hard.
-Colleen walks over to Tyler and Jase-
Colleen - Hi! I want to talk about the vote tonight.

Starr - No, actually. Not at all. To get to losing, you can't blame one person. It's a team and my team didn't help very much and really, me trying to HELP got us here, it's not like I did bad. Some people were bad team leaders during the challenge. People tried to took control and their aggressive attitude caught us ALL off guard. Which lead to our group failure.
-Colleen drastically rolls her eyes-

Jeff - I'll go tally the votes. -walks to get the case and walks back- If anybody has the hidden immunity idol and would like to use it, now would be the time to do so. -no one stands- I'll go read the votes. First vote, -takes it out and it says “Jase”- Jase. Second vote……… Jase… Third vote…….. Starr…. fourth vote…. Starr. 2 votes Jase, 2 votes Starr. Starr - I came to Survivor Japan to learn more about my culture and to grow as a person, and it really really sucks I haven't gotten the opportunity to do so… I think my 3 days were too confident and not enough in securing the numbers with Colleen, and if I could do it all over again, that's all I'd do differently. I am hoping that Clarissa and I will hang out outside of this and I hope if I took one thing out of this, I'd at least have a friend in her forever.

FINAL REVIEW:
~Pretty good episode! We got to see a lot of camp life and a lot of interactions. Storylines and plots are already developing with hints of foreshadowing make it really interesting. Four tribes is a little messy tho but we'll see what happens with it!
~Jase, Adaline and Jackson were pretty INV/UTR in my opinion. That or they were just forgettable to me.
~Colleen, Clarissa, Jazz, Cloé, Harry, Madison, Tyra, Eric, Robb, Liv and Barbie were all OTT/CP in my opinion.
~Next out/early boot predictions: Jonas (you already told me the gay flops/is irrel so he either goes out soon or is just irrelevant, gets an INV edit and floats to jury), Liv (you already told me that Barbie and Liv clash and Liv goes so RIP), Bill, Harry, Cyrus, Colleen (I think she'll be dominant but get blindsided after a few episodes) and Tyra (I think she'll also be dominant but end up flopping or something).
~Going far/endgame predictions: Eric, Madison, Jase, Clarissa. F2 prediction: Clarissa and Eric.
~Other predictions: Tribe swap in episode 3. Matt and Cloé end up hooking up and are seen as a huge threatening duo. Matt gets idol'd out at merge and then Cloé quits. Jase is INV/UTR the whole season, makes like final 4 and then gets medevacked. Adaline is rock'd out. Harry quits within the first 5 episodes because he wants to go back to raping his daughters. Colleen goes out OTTNN5. Eric is OTTPP5 of the season. Barbie gets a very OTT edit pre-merge but then goes INV post-merge, but then all of a sudden creates a big blindside to take out a big player but then goes home next tribal.
~Least faves: Jase, Bill, Harry. I'm eh on Tyra, I want to like her but I need to see more of her. Loves Colleen, Clarissa, Jazz, Madison, Liv and Barbie. Everyone else is eh.
