I have to say that this was the HARDEST ranking I have ever done. Nobody sent in any bad songs, in my opinion. They were all very good songs and had different takes on ๐๐ข๐ฉ๐.
Ok! This was an interesting take on this song. I've never heard it before. It's a lot more upbeat than the original but it's oddly appealing. I kind of like it.
So this is probably one of the most famous love songs of all time. Originally written by Dolly Parton about saying goodbye to her long-time producer, it shows a different kind of love. Not a passionate love but more about the love of friendship. Whitney's version, I feel was sung more intimately, and was BREATHTAKING! It was a BEAUTIFUL song and one of my favorites. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this song! WOW!
OMG! Cรฉline's voice is AMAZING! I have always been a fan of her voice. This song is just as amazing as her voice and she delivers it with that power she delivers in every song, Beautiful song!
Ok! This is an amazing song, don't get me wrong, but I felt her pain listening to this. It feels like she's in a bad relationship and she wants to leave but she's just looking for that ONE reason to stay. It made me feel unhappy for her. Like she's struggling to make the relationship work but it's not.
So you took a risk submitting the same song as someone else, even though it was a different version. I have to decide which version I like more. This version did stay more true to Elvis' version and so I commend you for that. However, the other version submitted was a completely different take and had a different feel to it. So it ultimately comes down to which one I preferred over the other.
So I've never heard the song but I actually enjoyed listening to it. It's more upbeat than your usual love song and it just shows how happy you can be in love. It's a good song.
As I said, this was the HARDEST ranking I've done. Most of the songs portrayed ๐๐ข๐ฉ๐ the way I like ๐๐ข๐ฉ๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ก๐๐ฆ to be.
I know there was some backlash and hate for the last episode's rankings. This competition is about matching MY taste in music. I'm never saying a song is bad. I'm just ranking them based on how I like them. It's ultimately my opinion and even though my opinion may not reflect what you think, that's how I rank these songs.
This has got to be one of the best ๐๐ข๐ฉ๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ก๐๐ฆ of all time and I feel the love every time I listen to this song! CONGRATULATIONS!
