Thanks to everyone who signed up to play! My first season with duos was a big success thanks to all of you :).
I've gotten a request from a few people to add stories to every game, so that's how I'm going to post results from now on. Hope you enjoy!
The game started off with the introduction of 12 teams of 2, from all over the world, meeting for the 1st time in the beautiful flatirons of Boulder, Colorado. "Welcome to TAR!" Phil said, as the teams cheered. "You are about to go on the adventure of a lifetime. You will travel all over the world, competing in challenges, winning prizes, and ultimately fighting for the best prize of all: 1 Million Dollars! Just behind me are your bags. When I say go, race down to your bags, grab a car, and make your way to Denver International Airport, where you will fly to your first location: Hanoi, Vietnam! On your ready... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... GO!" The race was on!
During the 1st two legs of the race, the teams went from Boulder, to Hanoi Vietnam, and then to Hong Kong, China, where they were quickly lowered from 12 teams to 10 teams. During the 1st leg, Jojo7784 [Jojo] and MariahAnn [Mariah] quickly fell behind, and were eliminated. The same happened to Zed55 [Rich] and ILOVETHEBUCCANEERS [Buck] who, after getting 8th in the 1st leg, never caught up and finished in 11th place.
After nearly coming last in the 1st leg, Snelly and Ally had a major turn around in leg 2, winning 1st place, and in the 3rd leg (in Paris, France), they won it once again. However, Cornelia [Cornelia] and Nattie [Nattie], who were also struggling, saw their luck run out, and they were the 3rd team to go home. During round 4, Alexandra and Juwayde came in 1st place, while Sam and Timmy came in last, only to find out it was a non-elimination leg,, and in a shocking turn of events, Alyxandra [Alexandra] and js21 [Juwayde] fell from 1st to 9th, while Sam and Timmy climbed from 9th to 8th, barely saving them.
Following the unexpected elimination of Alexandra and Juwayde, it seemed that anything could happen, and what happened was exactly that. After going down south to Cuzco, Peru, Snelly [ Snelly] and Ally [ Anonaly] found themselves the next duo to go, despite winning two legs in a row. With this power duo gone and only 7 left, the contestants participated in another non-elimination leg, where Timmy and Sam once again were at the bottom, but were spared elimination. All 7 teams were stunned, however, when they went back to Boulder, CO for the next leg- where the first 5 eliminated teams would compete to re-enter the game. Ultimately, in a close race between Jojo and Mariah, and Snelly and Ally, Snelly and Ally returned, making the game into 8 players once again.
After their return to Boulder, the contestants once again flew out, this time to Nairobi, Kenya, where rhysarnie14 [Rhys] and Megan [Megan] were eliminated, followed by XavierR83 [Xavier] and dalagninja [Dalag], while for the first time, Sam and Timmy thrived, getting 1st and then 2nd.
Leg 11 was split into 2 parts, where there would be two pitstops, but only one elimination. JonMcgillis [Bich-Ranae] and sahmosean [Jim] finished in 6th in the first part, and stayed behind the entire remainder of the race, ultimately coming in 6th place while in Rome, Italy. BBobsessor [Brooke] and Bowling4fun [Rheese] were then eliminated in Vancouver, Canada, leaving Imogen/Nathan, Snelly/Ally, Sam/Timmy, and Chloey/Charmy as the final 4 teams.
In the final 4 leg, contestants traveled to Tahiti, where they took part in several endurance challenges before Snelly and Ally were eliminated once again. The final 3 leg also took part in Tahiti. There were two pit stops as well. At the first one, Imogen/Nathan barely closed the gap to gain 1st place, while SamSam14 [Sam] and meduncan [Timmy] came in 3rd, finally going home. As the final 2 teams raced back to Boulder, Chloeox [Chloe] and Charmy [Charmy] finished in 2nd, making MrPokeGuy9 [Imogen] and #LoveLife [Nathan] the winners.

All Stars:
I'm going to start trying something different for all stars. All stars will be season 18, and will feature the return of 10 of the strongest teams from seasons 13-17.
As winners, Imogen/Nathan automatically get a spot into all stars.
And, for the first time, TENGAGED will choose which other duo from this season will join them! I will post a poll when all stars starts and tengaged will vote for which team they want to see return!
