Coco sits in the cafe with his best friend Claire as Ghostface taunts him.
“Your movie? Why did you kill Chelsea?”
“For fun. Consider me the Micheal Myers to your Laurie Strode. The Freddy Kruger to your Nancy Thompson. The obsession to your obsessor. The hunted, by the hunter. I will kill all your friends and everyone you love, before killing you. Slowly, and helplessly”
“Oh am I the final girl? Period”
“The Banks family was just the beginning, be scared”
Ghostface hangs up on Coco. “What was that about?” Claire asks, noticing her friend is visibly shaking. “Um, the fucking killer, the killer who says I’m the main character in their sick and twisted movie” Coco revealed, before adding “Apparently they’re going to strike again… I need to call someone”.
Scene Two
The sun is falling slowly as the night turns from a soft blue to a bloody orange. Jon Ryan, coach and volunteer firefighter walks out of the shower with a towel wrapped around him, kissing his wife goodbye as she leaves the house to catch up with her girlfriends. Jon sits on his bed and goes through his photo gallery. Photos of him and different women cuddling together. Jon stops at a photo of a middle aged woman, shiny blonde hair drooping softly over her bare chest, a smile, which as he remembered that moment, was when he kissed her neck and she giggled, mentioning how his beard tickled her. Jon softly traces his fingertips, knowing she won’t be back to his PT sessions. “I miss you Amanda”, he sobbed.Â
Jon gets startled by his phone ringing.
“Hey there”
“Hey big boy, you free?”
“I sure am. Come over, she’s not home”
“Sweet, on my way”
15 minutes later, a woman with glam makeup, blonde hair and piercing blue eyes knocks on the door. Jon invites her in. “Ready to train”, Jon teased. “No, but you fuck me better than my boyfriend” the woman said confidently. Jon looked around to make sure the neighbours weren’t looking, before inviting Brooklyn Lane into his empty home.
Scene Three
The next day, Nick walks off the football field as school is almost finished for the day. He joins his teammates in the locker room and removes his helmet and mouth guard. “Hoop, what the fuck was that?” Nick asks, referring to Hoop messing up a play. “Drop it already, hate this shit anyway” Hoop snapped. “Man, you obviously don’t like football. Why do you play this?” Otis asks Hoop. “It isn’t my choice” Hoop admits, sitting on a bench, before adding “It’s my dad’s idea. I hate this shit, too physical and competitive. It’s a man’s sport” Hoop admits, imitating Sheriff Dancer with the last part.Â
Otis and Hoop finish getting changed, and walk out the door.Â
Meanwhile, Coach Jon Ryan gets a phone call in his office.
*RINGING: Unknown Number*
“Hey who’s this?”
A woman’s voice answers
“You don’t remember me?”
Jon tries to remember which woman, of many, has this voice.
“Uh, yeah…yeah yeah I do”
“Well…*the voice changes to the infamous raspy male voice* I’m about to slaughter your football students! Come get me, womanizer”
*The phone hangs up*
Nick looks through his locker, not realising he is alone. Nick shuts the locker to see Ghostface at the door of the locker room, which they lock behind them. “Jesus..okay..get out of here man!” Nick shouts. Ghostface pulls out their hunting knife and tilts their head. “Let me be, don’t do this” Nick shouts at the silent slasher. Ghostface extends their arm to the side, and slowly walks towards Nick, the tip of the hunting knife hitting the metal lockers, making clunking noises.
Jon arrives and sees through the window. Otis and Hoop show up behind him and bang on the door. Ghostface doesn’t pay attention, their sight is set for Nick. Jon manages to unlock the door and barges in. “GET AWAY FROM HIM YOU SICK FUCK!” Jon shouts as he charges for Ghostface. Ghostface gets up to Nick and slashes his arm. Hoop and Otis are horrified. Nick cries out in pain. Jon gets up behind Ghostface…Ghostface notices..
Ghostface cocks their head towards Jon and in one swoop of the arm, the knife hits contact with Jon’s throat. Nick looks on with horror as Ghostface slits Jon’s throat. Ghostface realizes they are cornered and runs at Hoop and Otis. Otis attempts to block Ghostface but they slash his stomach and Hoop gets out of the way. Ghostface runs into the hallway, while Nick rushes over to Jon.
“COACH!” Nick cries out as blood pools around Jon, who had collapsed onto the ground. Jon struggles to breathe or talk, before sighing his last breath. Hoop is putting pressure on Otis’ stomach, noticing it wasn’t a deep cut. Hoop pulls out his phone and calls 911.
Scene FourÂ
“I am Sasha Noells and we are here with some breaking news, the Gorebrook Slasher has struck again. It is 5pm and just half an hour ago, the supposed assaliant attacked a young man in the locker room, when Coach Jon Ryan and teammates tried to save him. After heroically risking his life to save Nick Wood the former coach, who volunteers as a firefighter and a loved local to Gorebrook, was brutally murdered. Two students, Otis Loren and Nick, were injured but are now recovering in hospital. The principal has announced the school will be closed for the next two days, before a memorial in honour of the Banks family, and Coach Jon Ryan will take place Wednesday evening. I am Sasha Noells, stay safe Gorebrook, we may have a serial killer on our hands. Signing off”.
Sasha drops the smile and mutters as she walks to her news van. “This is my ticket to success”. She reaches the van. “My makeup looks like shit, I told them I need to hire some twink to make me look better”. “You looked beautiful Ms. Noells” replied her cameraman. “Shut up, you’ve done your job, leave me alone”, Sasha snapped before sighing, “take me to Drunken Lobster, I need a drink”.
In the hospital, Isla sits beside her boyfriend as a nurse wraps a bandage over his wound, before exiting the room. Isla’s eyes are watery, seeing Nick injured. “Isla, it’s not a deep wound, I’m going to be fine”. Isla doesn’t listen and holds his hand. Nick can tell she can’t handle the stress and seeing him like this. Beside Nick and Isla, Wes, Stacey and Shane are comforting Otis. “It hurts to sit up”, Otis explains. “Whoever did this, that motherfucker is going down” Shane growled. “What did the killer look like?” Wes asked. “A black robe, a ghostly white mask. They had a hood. The grim reaper of death” Otis began, “They had a hunting knife, and sure knew how to use it. They were skilled, sliced Coach’s throat open so effortlessly, it- I’ve never been so scared in my life” Otis added. A knock on the door, Coco and Claire walk into the room, followed by Sheriff Dancer and Hoop. “Hey everyone, the Sheriff wants to ask some of us some questions, but I wanted everyone here to hear this first,” Coco began, “the killer called me, saying the Banks family was just the beginning. I think the killer is linked to me somehow, and I think Nick being attacked was because of me,” Coco added. The room went silent. “Wait, why? Stacey asked. “Honestly, no fucking clue,” Coco wondered. “We need to figure this out, because the killer could be in this very room” Coco stated.
Everyone darted their eyes at everyone. “Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if it was Oliver”, Wes accused. “You did break up with Oliver not too long ago, and now there’s some random killer here?” Wes added. The Sheriff wrote on a notepad Oliver’s name, along with everyone else’s. “Emily? She is a weird christian girl, maybe she’s doing this to get rid of sin?” Stacey mentioned. Sheriff wrote down Emily's name. “The Killer needs to be close to Krista, or is conspiring with Krista, because she is still locked away” Sheriff Dancer spoke. “Even Joelle, she’s not athletic but she is definitely not okay in the head” Hoop added. Once again, the Sheriff wrote down Joelle Auclair. “Coco, is there anyone you can stay with that you can feel safe with?” The Sheriff asked. “He can stay with me, I’m dying of loneliness and we haven’t finished the V/H/S series yet” Claire answered. Coco smiled and hugged Claire. “Everybody stay safe, I’m not resting till this killer is put away” The Sheriff said a final time, before he and Hoop left the room.
Scene FiveÂ
Rinnie Fischer is scrolling through her Instagram profile, “Ugh, this pic only got 600 likes in 24 hours” Rinnie mutters to herself.Â

“What the fuck?” Rinnie wondered and opened them. Photos of her and Minerva making out by the beach. Rinnie’s heart sank.Â
*RINGING: MINERVA*
“Hello Rinnie”
“What the fuck is this?”
“What do you mean?”
“There’s photos of us making out in the car from the other day!”
“What?”
“Did you seriously get someone to take photos of us?”
“Rinnie no! Of course n-”
“Whoever did this, I want those photos deleted! Do you know what would happen if the public saw these pictures?”
“Rinnie please!”
“My life will be ruined. That bitch Sasha Noells will make a story out of it with her ugly makeup and everyone will make fun of me!”
“RINNIE SHUT UP! I HAVE NO IDEA WHO DID THAT BUT I WASN’T INVOLVED!”
“Whatever”
Rinnie hangs up the phone.
*RINGING: UNKNOWN ANSWER*
“MINNIE WHAT?”
“Girl troubles?”
“Huh…this isn’t Minerva…”
“No, I’m the one who took those photos”
“What?”
“Go to the same spot those photos were taken in an hour. I’ll delete them for a cost.”
“What’s that?”
“You’ll see”
*The line hangs up*
Scene Six
*RINGING: OLIVER*
Coco looks at the phone and sighs. Coco sits in Claire’s apartment while Claire is in the bathroom. Coco answers.
“..uh hi Coco, how are you?”
“I’m alright”Â
“I, really want to talk to you”
“Mhm. What’s going on? I noticed you looking at me in class the other day”
“I just….I still love you”
Coco was caught off guard.
“Oliver…I’m sorry. What happened in the past, is in the past. I broke up with you. It’s over”
“Coco, please im sor-”
“Goodbye”
Coco hangs up, and gently puts the phone down, before letting out a big breath.
“Goddamit Oliver”
Scene SevenÂ
Darkness falls on Gorebrook, as Rinnie drives at night to the rocky beach. In her purse is her phone, cash and pepper spray. Rinnie parks her car, grabs her bag and opens the door. The chill air hits her skin which slowly forms goosebumps. “Where is this dude?” Rinnie asks. Rinnie starts to walk to the rocky beach, the stones crunch beneath her shoes as she walks around. No sign of anyone. Rinnie calls the unknown number. Immediately declined. “What the fuck?”.
In the distance, from the route she just took, a pair of headlights beamed in her direction. It drove slowly, just faster than jogging speed.Â
“Ugh finally” Rinnie says, before holding the pepper spray in one hand. The car reaches her car and stops. The headlights still shine in her direction, blinding her.
“HELLO?” Rinnie shouts. No answer, just the sound of waves crashing and the wind swirling. Rinnie stands there as there appears to be no movement…
…Then she hears stones crunch right behind her.
*THWACK*
Rinnie gasps as the back of her head was hit with a heavy object. Rinnie falls face first onto the ground, the pepper spray rolling out of her hand, and phone smashing against a sharp rock. Ghostface moves towards her head, kneeling down and grabbing the large rock used to hit her, and smashing her again in the back of the head, causing blood to trickle down through her hair. Rinnie is unable to move as Ghostface hits her again.
Ghostface grabs the shattered phone, bits of glass falling off of it, and reaches for the back of Rinnie’s head for her face ID to unlock her phone.
At home, Minerva finishes her nightly tarot reading and sees a notification pop up.
RINNISTAFISCHER_ STARTED A LIVE VIDEO
Minerva opens the video, and screams when she sees Rinnie on the ground, face down, with someone holding the camera as Rinnie gasps for air. Minerva turns the video off and calls the police.
Ghostface stomps on Rinnie’s head repeatedly until they hear a cracking sound. Ghostface ends the live, throwing the phone into the ocean, before hopping into the vehicle and driving away, faster than before.
*RINGING: UNKNOWN NUMBER*
Sheriff Dancer answers the phone.
“Go to the beach, that’s where you’ll find her”
“Who is th-”
*Ghostface hangs up*
Sheriff Dancer speeds down the road until he gets to the crime scene. Rinnie’s cold dead body lay on the blood splattered rocks, skull exposed. “Fuck”.
