Was probably the worst. It wasn't bad television, it just wasn't as good as the other three. Continuity was an issue, and most episodes were boring. Twisty and Dandy were exciting, but other than that there wasn't any good characters or storylines.
The love story isn't compelling and the rest of the characters are really hard to invest into. I mean I enjoy watching the episodes, sure, but this season was a real let down. Dandy should have been the focus and I think he is the best character in AHS history. I guess we'll see what they do with the finale, but otherwise this season was a flop for me.
EDIT: I'm interested to see what they do with Season 5. The show gets worse every year and I'm wondering what they'll do and what horror aspects it'll bring

this may sound stupid, but i think a cowboys & aliens theme would actually be really cool
evan peters being the main cowboy role, and then you can do something really cool with the western theme and also incorporate aliens and shit. i dont know i think that'd be interesting and there's a whole lot you could do with that
uhhh Coven was the best storyline by FAR. all of the seasons have their strengths and weaknesses. if you watch for the "horror" and "creepy" factor, Murder House and Asylum are good. if you like an awesomely written series, people will like Coven. and I'm still on the fence with Freak Show haha
