The final theme was 90's and I asked for 6 different categories..
1) A boy band (idc about the number of members in bands)
2) A girl band
3) A mixed band
4) A female solo
5) A male solo
6) A collab (male/female/mixed/duet/feature idc)
I'm not gonna describe opinion one by one but I'll just give an overall opinion based on category.
Sooooooo to Boy Bands.
I love love loved the submissions by 3 of you so I gave you all first place in that round. Like a rose was expected, Iris was such a surprise & loved hearing it after so long and dayum I had forgotten this bloody N'Sync song ever existed and I can't believe that I did when it's the story of my life. Thanks Malamente now I can listen to it 24/7. mwah.
Girl Bands.
Honestly, Stop was the only song worth talking about and #damo1990 you actually submitted my favorite Spice Girls Song. woohoo
Mixed Bands.
I was really hoping someone would submit a Vengaboys song and I'm so glad someone remembered them. I would probably pick a different song from them but this was good enough to win this category #Ashleybabyx3.
Of course What's Up is definitely worth mentioning so GJ felipes too. hehe
Female Solo.
This was so difficult for me to judge. Well specifically the top 3. 2 & 3rd this round has been 2 songs I've been listening to a lot at some point in my life but Ironic was just too Iconic talking about a no-smoking sign on your cigarette break to lose this category. And I must say
#Ashleybabyx3 really disappointed me submitting a Spanish song. I personally would like to understand what I'm listening to and I have rated you low on Spanish Selena songs before and have mentioned this so you really ruined your winning streak here. If you submitted an English Selena song you would have most likely won this round. :/
Male Solo
I really thought Livin La Vida Loca did it but then Derek really did that with Mumbo Numba 5. You all had good submissions some just stood out.
Collab
No No No is probably my favorite Destiny's Child song and I really thought FelipeS had this category. It was such a close fight between Ashleybabyx3 & #Damo1990 for the crown and Derek's submission was good enough but then Damien submitted a song that changed his fate, in a good way. I really didn't expect From this moment to be here. So Well Done damo1990 with that you have won Minie's Music Contest. :D
Thanks everyone for playing. Some days were fun and some days were just so draggy. Idk if I'm doing it alone again. But I really loved the 3 judges round, thanks Chic & Eilish for helping me out with one of the most intense rounds.
