After 63 games I have finally won my first game here on tengaged. It was game #16231! I never in a million years would of thought starting off the game that I would of won!
The game lasted 15 days and from the very first day drama was everywhere! Some veteran players had taken note of the fact that 8 players had formed a Pre-Game alliance before. These 8 people quickly targeted anyone that was on the block that would speak out against this alliance. Instead of just waiting for them to get nominated they collectivately as a unit negged that person. Anytime someone from the alliance went up they had the votes to protect them.
I decided that it would be smart for me to just play nice with everyone because I didn't want to have the negs coming from either direction. So I was polite to both sides.
When it got down to the Final 7 I was the last remaining person outside of the Pre-Game alliance that was formed. I never thought that I would make it to the end since I knew if I got nominated just one time I would be going home.
They then decided that the only way they coud get me on the block was by negging every single one of my comments. So for almost 2 days I had to virtually say nothing because I knew if I did they would neg me the entire time.
In the end karma came to bite the alliance though as I ended up getting 1st place with only 3 keys, 2756 checks, and placing in the Top 2 for a good amount of the competitions.
It's a great feeling to finally win a game and even a better feeling to have won against a bunch of people who chose to take the low road for most of the game. I don't think I could of asked for a better win and this is a game I will never forget!
