So, we all know that backstabbing happens in this game. It's an unfortunate element of the game, but it happens. You also have the people that ASSUME they had an agreement and never did - but accuse you of being a lying backstabber.
Today, I want to highlight two of those players.

This guy amuses me. For starters, read through his blogs and see how many of his blogs have to do with backstabbers. OK, back up a second. How many of them have been deleted already. At some point, if this is happening to him A LOT... (which it is) is it possible that maybe he is just getting played?

Once again, check the blogs. How many of them basically say "you mofos" a lot and fuss about an early eviction?
My point is this. Some people in this game assume that every game they are in has that one evil person in it that backstabs them. When they lose, it is because another player was "cheap" or "a dirty liar" or "mean" or whatever. They believe that the game should be played such that they can just play on their own, take almost no positive action to get rid of other players, and victory will just happen to them.
WRONG. This game is, and should be, a game where you do much better creating your own fate rather than hoping for the best. Doing well at challenges and spamming the board will only get you so far until you realize that you HAVE to hustle, make allies, make deals, and yes - occasionally vote someone out that you did not want to vote out. And YES - it is possible to do so without being a total ass. You can be classy while you do so. It is the whining and name calling that happens in defeat where many people show their LACK of class.
I have been beaten by people, and gone on to be friends and allies with them here. I have beaten people in this game, and gone on to side with them later. I have no use for whiners, though. Learn to play, learn to be gracious in defeat, and learn to move on.
A lot of people who complain about being backstabbed, I've found, really aren't.
They think that because you have friendly conversations that you're their ally when you've never really agreed to anything. Or when you misinterpret other comments.... Or just try to throw themselves into an obvious alliance and don't expect to be the first to go when it comes down to it.
I've played a lot of games on this site, and I can only think of maybe three incidents when I've really been backstabbed. Usually, it is pretty clear who I can trust, and I make sure people are straight-up with me... I don't let them talk in circles or give me vague promises. So yeah, I guess my point is that I agree with you! People who believe they are constantly being backstabbed need to look at their own gameplay style. yeah, there are a lot of nasty people on here, but part of doing well is knowing how to deal with that.
Plussed everything posted here so far. Thanks for your response, Noel! That's EXACTLY how it seems to happen. Someone who joins late is the first to go in the alliance and gets upset. Someone messages me a lot and I responde in vague terms, and they feel backstabbed. The first guy up there accused me of backstabbing when he spammed me with PM's, BUT I NEVER RESPONDED TO HIM. It is a shame that some of these people play as much as they do - but never learn anything of gracefully winning or losing.
Since when has 2 become many? And where are u getting this whole its not ok to have alliances thing? When have i ever said its not ok to have an alliance? When people get voted out people do get pissed.. Thats what blogging is all about.. U get a chance to vent.. Like your ass is doing now.. haha.. U got some nerve to talk shit about others and u doin the same shit for the same reason.. So, shut the fuck up..

This is the same person that in his dying words on the way out of that game told everyone that I was controlling the game and needed to be voted out. Also - please learn a few couple things.
1. Win is spelled w-i-n, not when. Maybe the fact that you don't recognize the word on a page speaks volumes for why you don't understand how to do it.
2. Read my post again - I posted EXAMPLES. Do you know what an EXAMPLE is? Go look that up and get back to us.
3. I am not venting about the same thing for the same reason. check the game - I am still playing. Based on my Numbers score, I will be in the finals most likely. ha ha, u cant take anything in a game like this personally, and while yes sometimes its hard, its part of the game, whenever I get back stabbed I congratulate the player as opposed to getting angry at them, that being said I may not trust them again in a game, I dont take it as an attack on any previous relationship.

For those who didn't see the other blog.. Let me repeat again.. Shitar is missing the whole point of my post about my comment with booty.. She pretty much stated that she evicted me by herself.. Which wasn't true at all and that wouldn't even be possible to do that early in the game.. There was no way that 1 single person could send me home WITHOUT help from others.. And thats why that comment was made.. Not one did i say it was not ok to have an alliance.. There is a difference.. But, i think people are too dumb to figure it out.. Oh yeah, and just kinda throw it out there about the whole alliance thing.. With the way the new castings are setup.. U do not have to have an alliance to win a game.. Its a smart thing to have an alliance.. But, there is a way to win without being aligned with anybody..
I'm 34 - how old are you? Perhaps you should check your facts before you make assumptions that you are dealing with kids. I'm guessing you are what - 18, 19? How is your "superior intellect" serving you in games so far?
