The two tribes arrived to their separate beaches on day 1. On the Jamaica tribe, Frederick quickly formed an alliance with Alysha, Katrina, Cassandra, and Homestar, for the sole reason that he perceived them as being the dumbest on the tribe. Back at Barbados, everyone at the camp was able to recognize Barack Obama, the president of the United States. Jordan, Russell, and Pencil formed an alliance in an attempt to get rid of Obama, dubbing him as a threat. Meanwhile at Jamaica, Flower caused a stir between her and Gordon when they both argued about sleeping arrangements. Frederick and his alliance wanted to get them out as soon as possible. Barbados also didn't fair well, as on day 2, Ed had already ate 1/2 of the tribe's food supply, leaving the tribe almost depleted of food. At this moment, Russell wanted to incorporate Haley and Anneliese into the core alliance. Anneliese denied, while Haley joined the now four-person alliance. At the first immunity challenge, Jamaica had a strong start and an even better finish as they won the first immunity challenge. At Barbados camp, the alliance of Jordan, Haley, Pencil, and Russell set their sights on either Barack, Ed, or Catherine, due to her physical strength. However, before tribal council, Catherine stumbled upon a hidden immunity idol, and kept it secret from the others. At tribal council, the alliance of 4 and including Barack voted out their dumbest and strongest member, Ed.
