During the morning of day 22, Jim and Frederick discover from Jordan that Barack had flipped sides, voting for Alysha. Frederick approaches Barack as to why he did it. Barack says that "he was doing it for the best interest of the group". He is then quickly shrugged off. Meanwhile, Anneliese and Alysha devise a plan to blindside the members of their alliance, as Homestar overhears the conversation taking place. After telling his alliance about their plan, Paula approaches the two of them if they want to switch sides. Both now deny, claiming that Homestar "was lying". Paula comes back, now screaming at Homestar for wasting her time and "getting everyone too excited". When Haley hears of this, she interrogates the two of them. They both say that they were only saying that so the other alliance can get fooled and that they're still aligned with their current alliance. At the next immunity challenge, Barack, who needed the win crucially, fell behind and was out early on. Others fell short also, as Homestar has won immunity. Back at camp, Jim reconfirms with the alliance that they're voting out Barack. They are all in agreement in doing so. Frederick then pulls Anneliese and Alysha aside, confirming that what they were talking about a day ago was false. They both say it was, and go on with their plan. At the other alliance, the group learns that Barack was actually aligned with the other alliance, and wants to vote him out also. So at tribal council, both alliances plans came through, and Barack was voted out by a 10-1 vote against Frederick.
