9:00 PM. The lights in the house have just gone out. Everyone is looking around in the dark, trying to ease the confusion.
Emma: Who turned the lights off?
Bubbles: OMG, someone just bumped into me and spilled their beer! Hello?!
Gwen: Sorry, I didn’t mean to…
Bubbles: You bitch! I’m going to ruin you. This was an expensive top.
Hope: More expensive than your implants?
Bubbles: Hope, I’m the most influential girl here. I wouldn’t test me if I were you-- there’s no telling what I’m capable of.
Hope: I’m so scared of a plastic, ex-hooker. Give me a break.
Anna: Guys, I can’t see!
Lizzie: None of us can, Anna.
AJ clears her throat.
AJ (yelling): Honestly, you guys are being so fucking annoying! I invited you all here to have a good time, not argue like hyenas going in for the kill.
Bubbles: Out of respect for your dead mom, I’ll stop talking.
Hope: What the FUCK is wrong with you Bubbles?
Bubbles: I’m being considerate.
Michael: Ladies, c’mon. Let’s-
Lizzie: YOU shut up, Michael. AJ, I love you, but why did you invite HIM here?
Emma: Stop yelling at AJ, you guys! God, this is getting way out-of-hand.
AJ: I’m done trying. This is a fucking power-outage and you’re all acting like little kids. Emma, come with me to get the candles.
Emma: Where were they?
AJ: The owner said that all the emergency supplies were in the basement…
Emma (sighing): Let’s go.
Emma takes AJ aside and whispers to her.
Emma: I’m sorry about all this.
AJ: Yeah… me too.
Brody goes up to AJ and takes her hand.
Brody: I’m touching AJ, right?
AJ (faintly laughing): Yes, Brody.
Brody: Is there anything I can do to help?
AJ: Yeah… (whispering) You and Hope could maybe go out to the shed behind the house and get the generator. I don’t know a thing about hooking one up, but with all of our minds together we might be able to get “lit” again.
Brody: Sure thing.
AJ smiles and walks into the kitchen to go down to the basement with Emma. Brody turns to Gwen.
Brody: ...she said for me and you to go to the shed and get a generator.
Gwen: Oh. Okay.
Hope (walking up): Wait, what? You’re getting a generator? Okay, I’ll-
Brody: She said for Gwen to come with me… I think because Gwen’s experienced with that stuff, being a physics major and all…
Gwen: I’m a chemistry major.
Brody: Similar field, y’know?
Hope: R-right… (holding back her tension) Go ahead. I’ll be here. Waiting.
Brody and Gwen walk out the front door. We see Avril, who was near AJ and Brody when AJ told him to go with Hope to the shed, looking at Brody with an angry expression on her face.
Mac, from upstairs, suddenly comes bounding down the steps, Cloe’s shirt in his hand.
Mac: Guys! Jesus FUCK guys…Cloe’s in trouble!
END SCENE
In a dark, blue-lit room with dripping water (almost like a cavern) Cloe is being hung from a chain, her arms tied up together, so that she’s taught and straight. Next to her is another figure hanging from the stone ceiling. Her eyes widen as she surveys her surroundings.
Cloe (whispering to the figure): H-hello? (raising her voice) Hey!
Suddenly, the person beside her moves slightly. He opens his eyes: It’s Justin.
Justin: Who… what…
Cloe: Justin?!
Justin: Where am I?
Cloe: I was about to ask you the same thing…
Justin (catching her gaze): Cl-Cloe. What are you doing here?
Cloe: You really aren’t good at understanding what I’m trying to say… I got TAKEN here. I assume you did too.
Justin looks vacantly ahead of him, before eliciting a shudder. He winces with pain, or remembrance of pain.
Justin: Yeah… some asshat brought me here. He…
Justin doesn’t finish what he’s trying to say. Cloe looks at him, perplexed.
Cloe: I don’t even know who… or what, took me. But we need to get our butts out of here now.
Suddenly, footsteps from behind both of them can be heard, as well as the man’s laughter from earlier (the same man who trapped Justin).
Man: You try that, girlie. You try that.
He slaps her butt. Cloe shudders.
Cloe: Do not touch me…
Man: I won’t be touchin’ you… I got all I needed from your friend over there.
Cloe gasps and looks at Justin, who’s trying to hide his face.
Cloe: What do you want?
Man: It’s not what I want… (he puts his face right next to hers, his breath entering her mouth) It’s what someone else… “wants”.
Cloe closes her eyes. Tears fall. From beside her, Justin looks at the man with pure rage.
END SCENE
In the house, Mac falls down the stairs in his hysteria.
Mac: Ow! Shit…
Michael rushes over to him, crouching down beside him.
Michael: What’s wrong?
Bubbles: Is Cloe in trouble because she’s been a “bad girl”? (laughing)
Mac: Michael… I don’t know what to fucking say!
Michael: What do you mean?
Mac: Cloe is GONE.
Michael: Well…. where were you guys?
Mac pauses, swallows, and looks into Michael’s eyes.
Mac: We… we were in the bedroom.
Michael: Wait, man. You mean you guys-
Mac: We didn’t do anything. We were going to, but-
Michael: That’s my sister, dude!
Mac: I know-- fucking listen, Mike. She just vanished.
Michael: Maybe because she realized you weren’t good news…
Mac (visibly hurt): What’s that supposed to mean?
Michael: Look, I love you like a brother, but you aren’t right for her.
Mac: Yeah, and some brother you are. She’s not fucking HERE is what I’m trying to say.
Avril comes up to them, after tensely watching with everyone else.
Avril: Where did she go to, then, Mac?
Mac: Like you’d care. I don’t know! She was screaming for help and then disappeared.
Avril: That’s… sketchy. And concerning. We need to find her.
Michael: Yeah…
Bubbles (grabbing Michael’s arm): Baby, you know that she’s probably just having a change-of-heart and realized that Macky-Mac over here was just not good enough for her. Do you really want to waste your night chasing after someone like your sister?
Michael: Yes… yes actually, I do…
Bubbles (rolling her eyes): And here I thought I might actually settle for a meat-head like you. I guess I shouldn’t. I need a cultured man that can appreciate me for me.
Michael: Good, then fucking get him. To me you’re just an easy, rude, air-head.
Bubbles gasps in offense, proceeding to slap Michael.
Bubbles: You jerk!
Hope, who’s been watching, turns to Lizzie and Anna.
Hope: Where’s the lie, though?
The three girls laugh.
Mac: You three are laughing now… You wouldn’t if it was someone you actually cared about…
Lizzie: I wasn’t laughing at-
Avril: Ok, whatever. Let’s go upstairs and look. (motioning to Mac and Michael) Ready, boys?
They nod and follow her. Bubbles, who’s been assessing the situation, saunters after them.
Bubbles: If you find your sister, will you still consider tonight an… option, Michael?
He ignores her as he bounds after them.
END SCENE
Erika and Drew, who’ve been running in the dark for a long time, finally stop. They see the house.
Erika: This is it…
Drew: Fuck yes. Let’s go, Erika.
They bound over to the gate. Drew tugs on it-- it won’t budge.
Drew: Wait… what? It’s locked!
Erika: This can’t be happening.
Drew paces. He checks his phone: no service.
Drew: Got no service. You?
Erika (checking it): Same. Shit. (crouching to the ground) I think… I’m getting a little dizzy, Drew.
Drew: Look, we can’t be sitting ducks. We have to get their attention.
Erika: What do you suggest, sensei?
Drew (screaming): AJ! Hope! Brody! Emma! Anyone… help!
Erika (joining in): HELP US!
END SCENE
Brody and Gwen, who have made it to the cabin, are opening it up. Thunder rolls in the distance.
Brody: It’s about to rain.
Gwen: Yeah. Yeah it is…
Brody goes into the shed, shining his light. Rusty tools, animal droppings, and a raccoon carcass in the upper shelf flash before him.
Brody: Yuck.
Gwen: It smells awful.
Brody: Definitely gives me the creeps, but… (he grabs her waist) I think I’ll be okay.
Gwen smiles, then looks back at the house, a trace of guilt appearing on her face.
Gwen: Brody, I-
Brody (looking into her eyes): Yes?
Gwen: I’ve… I want to just-
He pulls her face into his and kisses her. It’s a long, sweet kiss. Rain begins to lightly fall.
Brody: I’ve wanted to do this for a long time.
Gwen: I can’t believe this is actually happening.
Brody (grinning): And why is that?
Gwen: Because, we’re so different… and I’ve never…
Brody: You’ve never what?
Gwen pauses, looking outside.
Gwen: Nevermind.
Brody: If you’re worried about Hope…
Gwen’s face returns to it’s previous nervousness mixed with guilt.
Gwen: I forgot about her for a… a hot second.
Brody: I did, too. But, she doesn’t need to… Like, I know this is going to sound shitty, but….
He stops, looking at the ground.
Brody: I just feel so connected to you. Is that wrong?
Gwen fumbles through the clutter. Brody turns her around.
Gwen: Connections are never wrong.
They begin kissing again, this time making out. He pins her into a discarded wheelbarrow.
Gwen: Not how I pictured this happening…
Brody: I never pictured it at all.
He smiles and voraciously kisses her, starting to unzip his pants. She smiles; he smiles. For a split second he looks up, doing a double-take.
Brody: Wait, what?
Without warning, Brody’s head flies off of his neck, a scythe slicing through it. A fountain of blood gushes out. In place of where his head was, a masked figure can be seen standing behind his body and Gwen’s, amongst the clutter of the shed, scythe in hand. Gwen, still in shock, caked in blood, and moving the body off of her, turns around. She screams.
END SCENE
A hand in a glove can be seen with a phone. Clicking on “Unheard Messages” it plays a recent voicemail. We hear the voice of Maya Rivera, a survivor from Season 1, and the cousin of Justin.
Maya: Hey, Justin. I’m sure you’re fine, but… but I just got this really weird message in my mail. It felt “off” so to speak. Maybe it’s just my sleep-deprived mind from working the graveyard shift at the hospital, but, “It doesn’t end at Aubrey's. It ends at A.J.'s” seemed a little weird to me, and I know that you’re going to this cabin-place with your friends this weekend… just please be extra careful. For me? I don’t know who, or what, “A.J.'s” means, but I just haven’t gotten a letter like this in a while. You never know what could happen. I’ve been taking my meds like the doc said, but, this is still sending me through the roof worrying about you. Let me know when you get this, so I know you’re okay. Love you, Justin. Stay safe.
The hand places the phone onto a wooden desk. Going to “Messages” it sends a text to Maya.
“Lol… Justin can’t come to the phone now. He’s fucked.”
Placing the phone into their pocket, the figure takes off the hood of their cloak.

Thoughts on Brody's death? It was sad, I really didn't want either Gwen or Brody to die, but one of them had to die and I prefer Brody, Hope is actually really nice and hes ditched her for Gwen, like at least break things of with her. Like fuck.

Tbh I hated your interpretation of my character. Like, did you not read the character/personality traits I gave him? I said that he was super shy and that, although girls crush over him, hes too nervous and too himself to ask one out.
In this he was a cheater who was very outgoing and not shy at all. He wasnt supposed to be a ladies man.
I'm honestly disgusted by how you treated my character cause not only did he die soon, which i wouldve been okay with if he was the character i applied him as, but he was nothing like what i did. nicolef sorry you feel that way! I made the foundation of his archetype the "good-natured jock", but the way that I wanted to take the plot in order to propel the action sometimes makes me add new or different layers to characters. I'll admit I forgot that Brody was specifically "super shy", and I'm sorry that I barely showed that.

I think the people with the lowest chances at this point are Justin, Cloe, and Gwen (since she is alone with the killer atm).
