1 Year Old

imageTomorrow, July 7th marks the anniversary of the beginning of the greatest merge streak Tengaged.com has seen.   http://www.tengaged.com/game/15488
Kez and Sash pressured me into posting this now…meanies.
What started out as an innocent BlueStar joining Survivor soon turned into an intense ten and a half month journey. As one of the original members of the Yeonwa/No Name/¬¬’ tribe, and one of the only ones still pretty active around Tengaged, I took it upon myself to make a dedication blog to what I consider my favorite thing that has ever happened to me on Tengaged.
A lot of people have come and gone through that tribe, but only a few were able to leave their mark on it.

Hall Of Fame:
BlueStar : Dubbed the mother of the tribe, this pistol fought her way into the top merges for the second time in her Survivor career. Surpassing her Gifnor record, and surpassing the overall merge record, Kez merged 60 times with her dear friend Ryatur. The two had been through everything together on that tribe and without each other, none of this would have ever happened.

Ryatur20: This quick witted challenge beast was a dominating force on the tribe. He constantly blew everyone away with his impressive scores. Not exactly what you would consider a social butterfly, Ryan still managed to find a way into the hearts of many of the tribe members and eventually, into the top merge spot, right next to his dear friend Kez.

MinsiKid: Probably the Cinderella story of the tribe. He got on during the second merge, which went 7-3 and he made it like 51 merges? A dominating force both in a challenge aspect as well as a social aspect, he lit up the tribe during his stay. However, tensions erupted, causing what was probably the biggest fight in the tribe’s history, and Minsi getting voted out just shy of having a chance to be seen in the Top Survivor Merges section of the Hall of Fame.

JordanLloydFan: He was there for a while at the start, but eventually left on good terms. He tried several times to fight his way back onto the tribe and once he finally succeeded, he stayed there until the end. I don’t think anyone else had more drama surrounding them than Jamie did. For a while it seemed that he would be added to the tribe chat, then leave, get added back, leave again, and it just kept going on until eventually he stayed for good. His argument with MinsiKid goes down as the biggest argument in the tribe’s history and his bromance with Ryatur continues to this day as they are roommates.

Sash: This Aussie boy picked this tribe up from a tough couple of merges and got them right back on track. This optimistic guy was exactly what the tribe needed. Whether it was talking about Chinese food or trying to make different sex positions with text, he always found a way to make the tribe smile. When it was time for him to leave for the states, the tribe was devastated. However, he came back with a vengeance and eventually finished out with his ¬¬’ friends during the final merges.

Lonlee: Although she found her way onto the tribe during one of the most scandalous merges in the tribe’s history, BlueStar and Ryatur would have never gotten the 60 merges without her help. In a tough 5-5 merge against Emily’s newly formed super tribe, she threw her vote during the first tribal council, resulting in a ¬¬’ majority. She lit up the tribe during the final merges and still to this day makes her mark in the tribe chat.

Tymu888: A frequent comer and goer on the tribe, Tymu always brought a good attitude when it came to the game. Whether it was running off into the bushes with Sass, or being a numpty in the chat, he always made us smile.

Rippyroo: Much like Tymu, Ryan #3 was a frequent comer and goer on the tribe. Always the sweetheart, he never left with bitterness and he never left our hearts either. Probably the sweetest person to have been a part of the ¬¬’ tribe, he pokes his head in from time to time to say hello.

Owee13: This young gun surprised everyone with how long he lasted on the tribe. Some say he didn’t deserve it, but he definitely brought a bit of fun into the chat and the game. He was there through a lot of the drama and definitely earned his spot in the tribe.

Nikutoku: One of the most underestimated people upon joining the tribe, Sean was an instant hit. He was funny, pleasant to be around, and just an amazing ally to have. Eventually, in a painful 5-5 merge, Sean was voted out for 11th. This hurt a lot of the people on the tribe, especially when he hadn’t returned. His elimination from the game has to go down as one of the hardest ones in the tribe’s history.

Jano: The Spanish wonder of the tribe. His broken English never failed to make us all smile. A wonderful person and a pleasure to have on the tribe, he has a special place in the hearts of many of the ¬¬’ members.

Paul41: The Brazilian badboy who introduced the tribe to the conundrum that was ¬¬’. What is it exactly? Well the tribe came up with everything from two penises, to a couple dudes doing it doggy style, even as far as a sweaty Arabic man (Guess who came up with that one… *coughminsicough*). Not much of a talker, without him, the tribe probably never would have found a new name/logo/whatever that thing is, I still don’t know.

Abrogate: Whether it was by bringing a tsunami, or by making everyone chuckle with his strange sense of humor, he always found a way to make us all laugh. He never had much luck on the tribe, only merging a few times consecutively, he still helped the tribe out a great deal.

Hall Of Shame:
KingMac1: The first kpell/fake suicide the tribe had seen definitely showed us all that it would not be an easy trip. The only positive thing Mac ever did on the tribe was push us all a little bit harder so thanks…I guess?

Snoofle/FrontierPsychiatrist: Shortly after Mac’s kpell, these two lovingly kpelled the tribe. However, they didn’t completely destroy the tribe, only each other as they were voted off quickly and efficiently.

Emmaleigh: This lovely lady caused one of the biggest controversies the ¬¬’ tribe had to experience. Right around Kez and Ryan’s 58th merge, she joined Survivor with a tribe of her own, seeming to want to end the merge streak. However, a very tight 5-5 merge and with a little help from Lonlee, Emily’s goal failed and Kez and Ryan surpassed the merge record set by her and Dru.

Aquamarine: Just before Sash’s departure from the tribe, Johnny ate and drank everything on Day 1. We ended up losing the first challenge, but in Words immunity the next day, Ryatur just beat him out, and Johnny was given 20th. Probably one of the failingest moments the tribe had seen.

TheKid28:  You had a good 20 or so merges with the tribe. You came in at a time where we needed a few more reliable members and managed to make a few merges thanks to the rest of the tribe being able to provide decent scores to cover for your crap ones or you sitting out. You progressively became better at challenges, and using your friendships and relationships with certain tribe members.. moved your way up almost into the core of the tribe. Then you became a douche, lied about a whole bunch of shit and just turned into a really creepy person. Grats on getting removed from the tribe before Sash had a chance to vote you out. Peace fucker

It has been a crazy ride with the tribe, and being there through 37 of the 60 merges, I can say that it was the most fun I’d ever had on Tengaged. Despite all of the drama that the tribe had went through, at the end of the day, we were a family through it all. Although a dysfunctional one yes, a family none the less. Well, I have the feeling I’m starting to ramble now so I think its time to wrap it up.

If you read this whole blog, pat yourself on the back because I know it was a lot. Thanks to Kez and Sash for a bit of help with this and thanks to everyone that had ever been a part of the ¬¬’ tribe, whether it be good or bad because without you, it never would have been possible.

Did you follow Yeonwa/¬¬’ from the start? Think you can name all its members? Try it out!
