At #28 is SURVIVOR: FIJI
This season was so terrible it blew me away...
I was pissed off by this season within the first five minutes, why are they building a shelter with a couch in it? Why do they have a bathroom? THEY EVEN HAVE FANCY PLATES, KNIVES AND FORKS! WTF THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE SURVIVOR, not a budget hotel... this took the whole basic Survival premise of the show away and basically ruined it.
Then they made it worse by placing one tribe in luxury whilst the other lived in a typical Survivor setting. Of course the rich tribe decimated the other in all the challenges, which made it pretty fucking dull and predictable. So much so that possibly the worst producer decision in the history of producer decisions occurred which was basically blatant rigging. The rich tribe, after winning a challenge, were forced to either give up all the luxuries they earned or give up their immunity. WTF, HOW IS THIS IN ANY WAY FAIR?
Then there was a stupid dancing reward challenge that pissed me off even more, and then even after the merge the moronic producers decided to randomly split them into two tribes again for immunity. WTF, TALK ABOUT GOING BACKWARDS! It's supposed to be an individual game post merge, and it ruined the prospect of a 10 person post merge tribal council. A 9 person tribal which lessens the likelihood of ties which are pretty exciting. So basically they even managed to ruin the merge.
But the biggest failure of this season was the casting, and honestly what do they expect when all but one of the cast are recruited? People like Lisi were just terrible at the game, at one point she even said that going into the merge with a 5-5 tie would be 'fine'. WTF. Then she wanted to quit, didn't want to quit. At this point I wanted to slap her.
The final three was awful. I was backing Yao-Man in the final episoede, but he got 4th, so that pissed me off. Dreamz is an idiot, Cassandra did nothing, and Earl was just ok. Between the three at least the right person won. But honestly the whole cast was awful. There was literally NOBODY to root for most of it.
I was pretty much a pissed off Survivor fan for the whole season.
