I'M PISSED OFF!!!!!!!! Most stores are opening the doors for thanksgiving at like 6 or 8pm. That is so stupid. I went the last few years, but then the doors didn't open until Midnight. I could relax, spend time with our family, and then drive the 40 min to where we did our shopping with my best friend.
Well now all that is out the window. These fucking stores are opening at like 6?! It was called Black Friday because stores didn't open until after Thanksgiving. I feel so bad for those employees who have to work instead of spending the holiday with their family. It's so stupid. There are a ton of people who are skipping out on Thanksgiving so they can go wait in line for the deals. On the day we are supposed to be thankful for what we have, people are going to go rip each other to shreds just to get a television for 50$ off. It's just ridiculous.
So Tengaged, please remember to stop and be Thankful for what you have. If you are going Black Friday shopping, maybe wait until after you spend it with your family. There will still be deals (maybe not tv's) but there will still be stuff. It's an outrage that stores would even think to open early.
So I say DOWN WITH BLACK FRIDAY... OR SHOULD I SAY BLACK THURSDAY! Let's turn Thanksgiving back into what it's supposed to be.
