Ranking Suitman's Survivor 1st Gen Seasons: #18

imageNOTE: This is NOT a ranking of the CBS Survivor seasons it is a ranking of the 1st Generation Suitman's Survivor seasons, a groupgame which began in August 2011 and ended in November 2012.

#18: Tocantins (Season 16, May 2012)
Winner: Gaiaphage (7-0)
Wiki page: http://bit.ly/IKxHiC

Before I get murdered by Gaiaphage for this, let me tell you why Tocantins is so low. It, like Palau, did not make enough of an impact. The Gaiaphage Immunity Streak it what it is remembered for. Not gameplay. Not characters. Not big power shifts. I suprising Immunity run. Which is good. I'm not saying it made it bad, it SAVED THE DAMN SEASON. The rest of the season was just kind of dull tbh.

For this season, two three-time players from the past returned and joined 14 new people on a 'simple' season, with no new twists. The two returnees were Gaiaphage and Carraid73. Gaiaphage joined Timbira, and Carraid joined Jalapao.

Timbira started well. Two challenges, two wins. However, they the lost EVERY OTHER CHALLENGE and merged in the minority 6-4. Pre-merge, like most seasons, was a little dull, just because it was simpily trimming the fat time. It livened up post-merge. But not ENOUGH I feel. The first post-merge vote definately was a little worrying as a Timbira got voted off 6-4 and it looked like a simple pagoning. Their major mistake was not getting rid of Gaiaphage at that vote, because then his 7-challenge winning streak began. As soon as it began, two members of the majority Jalapao tribe, flipped to Timbira and blindsided Morgan, who then posted porn and banned herself in anger! -.- The two flippers looked like they were going to stay with Timbira when they took out Carraid at the next vote, but then they jumped BACK to Jalapao, formed a new majority with the last two Jalapaos left, DylanBT and Admir, and blindsided Peace. Then, the pagononging on Timbira continued until it was four Jalapaos vs Gaiaphage, the last Timbira. Gaias winning streak cotinued, and Dylan and Admir got booted out so it was just the two flippers and Gaia who remained. Gaia won Immunity, took out one of them who made the decision to flip, and beat the other guy 7-0 in the Jury vote.

To sum up. Gaia wins Immunity lots. Timbira member pagonged at merge, two people flip, vote out two Jalapao, flip back, vote out two Timbira, take out their last two Jalapao allies. Loose to Gaiaphage.

It was intersting to watch how it unfolded, but it was too simple. The only people making the moves were Gaia, Zbase and Justdont (the flippers). Everyone else just followed a pagoning, or waited to be pagonged. As much as I like the Gaia Immunity Streak thing and think that Gaiaphage had a great storyline from start to finish, when you look at it as a whole, it's not spectacularly amazing.

Fave Castaway on Season = Gaiaphage so I don't die.
