"Why DON'T we all just vote Edgardo?" - Edgardo Rivera (Fiji)
This one is vastly different from Rodney's because I didn't dislike Edgardo at all -- I actually thought he was boring and inoffensive and was largely seen as the only likable member of the Four Horsemen dipshit alliance.
What is so noteworthy about Edgardo's blindside was that it pioneered the art of voting for the most inconspicuous member of the opposition so as to ensure and idol wouldn't be played on them. This also enabled the alliance of Underdog misfits to rise to the top. Yau Man the elderly Asian badass, Earl the Average Joe, Cassandra the social outcast, Boo the lovable yet annoying klutzy redneck and Stacey the loudmouth ended up making it to the Final 6 intact.
Overall, I put Edgardo's blindside at #9 because it represented an important milestone in how the game of Survivor was played that carries through to this very day and enabled an alliance of outcasts to make it to the top (plus, the looks on the horsemen's faces were also pretty awesome).
