18 girls from across the Kanto region came to Victory Road, to compete in the once in a lifetime opportunity to become Pokemon’s Next Top Model. In the end, Vaporeon reigned supreme with her beautiful casting photo and claimed the Ketchum Suite. 11 other girls made it into the house, leaving 6 aspiring models’ dreams dashed. Who will go home tonight?
Of course you know the judges. Boss, business, and brand - Jake // LittleMix, world famous supermodel and your host. Dylan // SurvivorFreak13 renowned fashion photographer. And our newest judge, Brittany // LaFierceBrittany2 … Brittany is a famous art director who has worked with many famous supermodels, including our latest winner, Mawile.
This week the girls had to take us back to their roots, and pose in their environments. Let’s take a look at the girls’ shots! First up is Ninetales!
Brittany: Ninetails, I like that there's a story that you're telling in this photo. I love that long tail of yours and the emotion in your face is just perfect. Maybe try to elongate your body a little more next time.
Dylan: This is really stunning. You're giving us motion and length with this picture, and you look absolutely stunning. Your body looks strong and isn't overshined by the length and volume of your tail, and your eyes are focus and really pretty.
Jake: This is beautiful Ninetales. The emotion in the eyes is perfect. And your body looks stunning. The way everything comes together is great. My only problem is the feet look a little intertwined.
Jake: Flareon this is good. The face looks happy and prideful. The body is okay, we lose a lot of it from the angle of the camera. Work on angles a little bit. Overall it's a good shot.
Dylan: I am actually a little bit disappointed in this shot. I think that you are are one of the prettiest girls in the competition but this reads commercial to me. The pose is pretty good though and your hair looks good per usual.
Brittany: I like it, Flareon. I think the angle compliments you very well in this photo because we can see that long tail! I like the way you're looking up and giving us some neck but your body looks a little short.
Dylan: Although this is a pretty simple pose, I really like this shot. I think it speaks volumes for how intricate your body is and how fierce your face can be.
Jake: Scyther this picture is very interesting to me. The pose is so simple but it kinda works with this. The face is also simple but for some reason something draws me into it. I'm kinda speechless.
Brittany: I'm a little disappointed, Scyther. I think you definitely could've done more with this shot. I do, however, like the little smirk you're giving off but it seems a little boring to me.
Dylan: This is very mysterious to me. There's both a darkness and lightness illuminating from this photo. It's pretty simple, but your eyes still look good, and you're not getting lost in the environment.
Jake: This is very lackluster Vaporeon. You're such a beautiful girl and I see so much potential in you. You didn't find the light and it makes the photo not work as well. Very disappointed from last week.
Brittany: I like that this is close up, Vaporeon. I like the way your eyes look and the darkness makes it very mysterious. I think you worked well with the environment and you're already going to be a stand out model, I can tell.
Charmeleon charmed us last week, can she do it again?
Jake: Charmeleon this is a little too masculine for me. The face isn't very model for me. And really this makes me think you look like a drag queen. The body is very strong, but it's too strong if that makes sense.
Dylan: This is really cool! It's showing exactly the type of environment that you come from and is a different kind of picture than everything else we've seen so far. Your body looks a little stuff but the expression in your face sells the shot.
Brittany: This is FIERCE! Even though you are naturally "mean looking" I can see the anger in your eyes and you're the main focus in the picture. I do want to see you photograph a little softer next time.
Now that we’ve seen Charmeleon’s shot, let’s see what Charmander can do.
Dylan: I think you are going to be similar to Cubone from last season - don't have too much to give in person but can really sell a shot with your eyes. There's an obvious story here. However, I think the arch of the back makes you lose height and puts all your weight in the front.
Jake: Charmander I do love the emotion in this picture. It was a dangerous shot for you as we all know. The eyes are beautiful while you're crying and the expression didn't lose model. The pose is a little eh, but overall I think you did a good job.
Brittany: I like that you took a different approach with this theme and showed us a story. The look in your eyes draws me in and I want to know more about what's happening. You look a little bigger, though, so keep that in mind next time you are at a photoshoot.
Jake: I agree, she does look like she gained weight in this picture.
Charmander, we think you have a lot of potential, just make sure you’re maintaining a proper diet. Next up is Butterfree!
Jake: Butterfree this picture is really pretty. The wings look beautiful and the face is also really pretty. I don't want you to rely on just being pretty. We need to see more from you.
Dylan: I'm seeing you as a one-note kinda girl. I do like that you are looking back in this picture, which kind of adds expression since it cuts off your eye. Doing things like that will add dynamics to a shot. Body is not strong but not weak either.
Brittany: This is great, Butterfree! I like that you're looking back and giving us some neck. I love how the light makes you look like you're glowing and you elongated your body! You didn't let the background take over but I do agree with the other judges... I want to see something different.
Dylan: I really am enjoying this picture. It's simple but it really captures my eye. If I was looking through a magazine and saw this I'd stop. You have a very strong profile with a very great coat of hair. Hopefully next time we can see you with more body though.
Jake: I really love this picture. Your body is so calm and at peace but it still looks good. The face in this picture is very strong and fierce. I like the contrast of that.
Brittany: This is telling a story, Jolteon and I love that look in your eye. You lose the bottom half of your body in this shot, however.
From one electric pokemon to another, Pikachu is up next!
Pikachu: I am not sure how i feel about this picture. Your body looks really kind of weird just because of what you're doing with your arms. There are elements of this picture that I like, but the whole thing is maybe a C-.
Jake: This picture is okay. The body is nice and I like the movement of the wind within this picture. The face is where you lose me though, it isn't very strong and not very modelesque.
Brittany: Pikachu, I like this shot. The way you're looking back at the camera and the smile are good but that's about it.. The eyes are a little dead and you could've done more with your body.
Brittany: Mewtwo, this is so strong and high fashion! I love your body language and you're working with the environment very well. You stand out and your eyes are piercing. Awesome job!
Jake: Mewtwo this is pretty fierce. The body looks really good and the way your eye connects to the camera you pierce through. My only issue is the tail. It looks a little awkward.
Dylan: I am really digging this picture. Pose wise its one of the best we've seen of the bunch. Your eyes lose it just a little bit for me but the way you are interacting with your setting is perfection. Great job.
Good job, Mewtwo. Keep up this kind of work. Up next is Seafoam Islands native Dewgong.
Dylan: This is a bit odd for me. Your body looks like a sausage casing that's just been stuffed. I think your eyes are what really sells the shot for me, the body just needed to match that.
Jake: I happen to really like this shot Dewgong. Your eyes are connecting so well to the camera and the body looks great. It's a very eerie feeling I get with this and it works really well.
Brittany: This is unique, Dewgong. I like the look in your eyes and I can tell you wanted to show us a different side to you. However, I do agree with Dylan about your body looking kind of like a sausage. Your arms look absolutely gorgeous!

Jake: I think your body looks stunning. The way everything flows is beautiful. My issue with this is the face. It's dead. There's almost no emotion coming out of you.
Dylan: I am blown away by this shot. There's motion in it, but it still looks simple. Your hair is selling the shot, but not taking away from the fierceness in your expression and body, and you're interacting greatly with your environment. Good job!
Brittany: I love how long you look and your hair looks beautiful! The eyes in this photo are fierce and I can tell you worked with that set. Keep up the good work

Pikachu. We see such a likable personality there. We know that you’re a fan favorite, and we believe that you can produce way better than what you’ve given us here. But is this picture an indication of what is to come? Flareon. In front of us is this beautiful girl. Aesthetically one of, if not the most beautiful girl in this competition. But it isn’t just about what’s in front of us. You need to produce good pictures.
Flareon, congratulations. We know you’re stronger than this, there’s no question. Another faulty move like this could cost you the competition.
