Ok, I know this is late, but thats the way I roll.
I personally enjoyed BB:OTT to an extent, but both the fandom and the houseguests were toxic. I supported the Ballsmashers, but as I live in the UK, I could only get involved by supporting. They definitely weren't the best people, but the LNJ said horrible, despicable things about people, way worse than the Ballsmashers, who did say some nasty shit.
I did hate the involvement of America, especially because of the advantage Jason had coming into the game. I wish it was entirely newbies or entirely veterans (either well-liked or all well-hated) if they do decide to do OTT again, with Americas involvement, although I really hope there isn't so much involvement.
My only major pet peeves of the season: 1) The fandom, particularly BB alumni. A lot of the alumni came around to support Jason, despite not watching the season. That gave him an unfair advantage, hence why the LNJ had 5/7 nominations go there way (Week 3 and 4 were the only times it didn't)
2) The edited episodes: I understand that edits can't get everything, but the editors clearly made it biased towards Jason. Both sides said (and did) disgusting things, but the LNJ didn't get much shown. The worst thing I saw was when Jason and Shane were rubbing there sweaty armpits on Shelby's pillow for no reason (before the major hatred started) other than to be petty. The Ballsmashers on the other hand, were almost always depicted negatively. This really annoyed me, as it gave false expectations to busy people that didn't have the opportunity to watch live feeds
So I'm gonna try this blogging thing, so what better way to start than a topic semi related to something on tengaged, as well as something i enjoy.
The title says it all, and where would you like to see it be filmed.
I have a quite a few places I would like to see Survivor be filmed such as:
Costa Rica - A beautiful country, with culture and a great environment, great for filming in my opinion
One of the African coastal island countries (Seychelles, Madagascar, Comoros, Mauritius) as they are very diverse, and I think would serve as a challenge to survive in.
Japan - Pretty obvious reason, a lot of culture. Would cost a lot though so I can see why but I can dream
Middle East/North Africa- No specific country, maybe Morocco, Oman or the UAE. Would be very interesting to see. Change of pace from the typical Pacific, North American or East Asian countries (Philippines, Indonesia).
Canada/Iceland/Alaska - Would love to see a version of survivor in a colder climate
Nauru, Tuvalu, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia (France) - Pacific Countries that deserve more love.
Other countries for similar reasons as other ones - Maldives, Chile, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, and a very realistic country, Survivor: North Korea!!!!!!
