Your school is having a summer field trip for Language classes to France, Italy and Spain. Its about 4k. Chances are you'd be spending a little more than a week in 3 different countries across the world with your language teacher & some random kids you've probably never seen before. Would you go if you could afford it?
If I could afford it personally, no. The idea of being with people I wouldn't be able to communicate with in a foreign country scares me. I'm not very social. If I knew the people I would, but in your example no.
This amuses me. This situation came across to me when I had the opportunity, however my countries were Spain England and France and my trip was 10 days, and a lot of the girls that were going had a sexual reputation, if I must admit, and I took it, I leave tomorrow morning and I come back on my 16th Birthday :D
