seem to be some of the most paranoid people on the planet. You'd think their house gets robbed every other day the way they talk about wanting to protect themselves.
Unless you walk through the ghetto, put yourself in a harmful situation, or leave your doors unlocked, it's unlikely you'll have to defend yourself with a gun and kill someone. Most of these people just want to use their gun really bad on someone, it's how so many innocent unarmed people die on a daily basis because dimwits like them are so quick to use the self defense card to try to shoot someone who wasn't going to do shit to them.
Anyways if we're strictly talking about home invasion, i'd feel more protected with a big ass baseball bat than a gun. But to each their own.

The solution to the problem... Everyone should be armed. Those "dimwits" get a gun just to have some sense of power. It gives them an advantage. So if everyone was armed, it pretty much takes that power away.
