trend recently where people sing the chorus & then there's a bunch of pop/trap/electric music where they don't sing at all, and then go back to singing the bridge then back to the pop/trap/electric dancey music and back to the chorus and then the song ends?
That's what the entire Troye Sivan album is like, Fifth Harmony's new album does this for most of the songs, and Ariana Grande's song "Be Alright" does it as well as another example.
It's not bad, I just notice a lot of people are starting to do this.

OMG YES. my thoughts are extremely mixed because half the time songs just have random breakdowns that do absolutely nothing for me that get repetitive FAST but other times it turns the song into a pussy popper. its hardly ever done right imo
