Hey! I just wanted to say that although this was a tough run for my shop, I was able to remain open for 12 weeks which was totally unexpected for me. Literally 3 whole months. I didn’t even know if I’d move once.
Through doing shops I met a lot of nice people and got close to other shop owners too. Shout out to Minie congrats on 13 weeks go get that record girl! I always know I can come to you for advice and even though we clashed at first I love how honest you are. Refreshing here on TG
Dimitra you have done amazing with your own designs and after not selling the first time you’re now killing it. Also made a great friend out of you. You’re super selfless and always looking to help others. 🩵
I want to say thanks to the many people, friends new and old who supported my shop and all the deals I did whilst having it open. Although super stressful, having the shop made me have something to deal with on here and when times were stressful in life I had something to focus on.
Now I do want to touch on some things I learnt from… sometimes I hated who I became when I had a shop, you become obsessed. Friends would buy from other shops and I’d feel angry and resentful. It’s ridiculous it’s an online dying website and people were buying designs they liked the look of - sorry to anyone I was rude to!
As well as this, I do want to mention having a competing shop is never all that. Myself and Minie are both trying to save for colour levels but we actually are never able to because all the ts we earn is just spent doing G4G etc to ensure we move again. So we lose all the t we gain and don’t get karma for it. What do we actually gain other than not allowing others to move and having a streak in shops? Nothing. Would be better if you gained a little karma each time you moved and maybe even a limit of how many times you move but yeah I think when it comes to competing I’m gonna have a break!
I’m thinking of reopening my Made in Chelsea shop but posting for a max of 300!
Thanks again for all the support. It really has been a ride.
Also to all the people that have been there to support me and listen to me through all the shit happening atm I thank you. It kinda came hand in hand with having a shop.
