Three big things happened and this is going to be one long blog....or maybe not...I haven't typed it yet!
(1) I got a call about an IT Consultant job. It was completely unexpected but the opportunity was amazing! I get to travel, work with companies and use software to serve their needs. It was perfect for me.
He phoned me 2 hours later for the telephone interview. It was okay....I think he thought that I lied about having no dissertation in my degree. Which sucks because I really wanted to do a dissertation and they took it off my course JUST FOR MY YEAR! But I could tell that he didn't believe me.
I was supposed to hear back 24 hours later but...nothing....at all....
...That's my low of the week. Could have been a high too!
(2) On the Thursday I spent waiting for the all important phone call, my dad and sister kept calling me! I just wanted them to leave me alone in case I missed the call!!!!!
My sister rang me because she had booked an afternoon tea with her husband for Friday, but her husband had to work instead. So she invited me. I remembered that my middle sister had Good Friday off work, so I suggested that they both go instead.
Me and my eldest sister always hang out. I also hang out with my middle sister a lot.
However, my sisters NEVER hang out together. So I thought that this would be a great opportunity for them.
However, my middle sister said no. Why? I dunno, she likes to be a grumpy meany head! :P
jk, she doesn't like trains, doesn't like her plans changed with only a day of notice, and she doesn't like going to nice places to have nice stuff.
Nice places being the Hilton hotel, and the nice stuff being titled "Confessions of a chocoholic afternoon".
My dad called me as well asking me to go to his work on the same Friday. I had agreed because I know my dad doesn't ask unless he needs me.
SOOOOO my dad and sister made a deal for my plans. I went to my dad's work from 10am-2pm.
Then I was to take a train from Hook to London Waterloo. Then 2 more trains to get to the station (which turned out to be the wrong station because my sister is a fail). :P
On train no.2 (Bakerloo line), I sat opposite a strange couple. I'll tell this story in another blog. :P
But the afternoon was great and I had tonnes of fun with my sister. =] The chocolate was AMAZING! There was a chocolate duck FILLED WITH SMOOTH CHOCOLATE MOUSSE! I also had a really nice Assam tea and scones. ^_^ (pic of me with the tea and treats)
All in all, it was a good day. That was my chocolate overdose (and high). :P
(3) Had my first driving lesson today.
I MOVED A CAR! It moved! It felt unreal! And....I DIDN'T STALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
But yeah, it was pretty cool and the instructor is really nice. She's a friend of my sisters. =]
She was really impressed with me, hence this was my high of the week. :D :D :D
I'm sorry to hear about the call :( Maybe they forgot and you'll get the call soon?? Stay optimistic :) Glad to know there were still highs in your week.
