(I was in the middle of writing this last night & fell asleep, finishing it this morning! Yay!)
Rather than straight-up reveal my mission(s) for this day, I'm going to tell you guys a (long) story about noobie me. [summary below]
Back when I was a yellow level in 2008, I watched the first ever Stars enrollment! Brand new, exclusive game! It was so exciting! I watched it, saw all the popular users join it and I came to a decision.
"I'm going to play Stars one day! Which day? ON MY BIRTHDAY!!" Yepp, I planned it before JesseM stole my idea. ;)
My birthday was on a Sunday in 2009, which meant there were 2 possible Stars games for me to play - one where final day would be on my birthday or one where day 2 would be my birthday.
So I was pretty sure I'd get into at least one, but I aimed for the first one. XD
Enrollment started at red level, but it ALWAYS went down blue or dark green (sometimes, lite green). So my aim was to reach purple or red before my birthday to be guaranteed a seat. Oh gosh, did I work hard. I did my best, but I sucked at games. XD
BUT I did reach blue, so I had a chance.
I know it's hard to picture it, but Tengaged was a small community back then. I accidentally became a popular noob when I stumbled into the FIRST EVER 20 PERSON CASTINGS! And I made it to 7th considering it was my 2nd game I was playing with very experienced people and I made a lot of friends (popular friends). XD
Everyone was hyped for me, Stars 26 was here and enrollment started.
Red level, no one joined for a while.
Literally no one.
Then Lexxu joined and a couple more people jumped in when it went down to purple.
I told Rishi to join saying something like, "Don't worry! I'll get in when it gets to blue! :D"
And he got in.
People kept joining.
1 seat left.
& People stopped joining.
....It went down to blue....I saw the enrol button light up....I clicked it.....

I just thought, "I have one more try"
That try turned into THE BIG STARS GIVEAWAY no.1!! (Thanks, Jubbzy) XD
And after going through the rounds, I made it!
I was Rando's pick (I may....or may not....have mailed him a few weeks earlier begging him to hack stars so I could play on my birthday! #TrueButTerribleStory XD)
AND I got the highest votes! So I was favourite to win the Stars.
But Alas, even Stars 27 was doomed to not be mine. It glitched and became a normal Stars.

HOWEVER, because I'd gotten in the BSG, I was forced to play Stars the week after!

Me and EnragedBeauty were the popularity threats, so we were nommed together for 15th.
And I didn't write a speech (at all). In fact, I had logged off for an entire day and missed my whole nomination & eviction. And I was just not bothered and angry at everyone. #HormonalTeen
I had had so much support, so many people wanted me to win and I didn't make an effort. I let everyone down and looking back now, I was a complete mess.

Getting this seat from Bibbles felt a bit like history repeating itself. So many people have mailed me support, made me blogs, stuff like that and I'm blown away. You guys really are too much sometimes. :')
But this isn't the first time this has happened and this time, I don't want to let you down. I've been so honoured and I truly appreciate the support.
I can't promise you that I'm a "Queen" and that I'll "slay", but I just want to do the best I can and have no regrets.
So my mission was to not let history repeat itself and not get nommed for 15th. XD

Summary: I'm old, I watched the birth of the first Tengagedian Stars, I failed at Stars in those ancient times. Now my fossil has been resurrected and this time, it's gonna actually try. ;)
