Lorin (confessional): For a person as small as I am, my patience exceeds the size of my body times twenty. 99% of that patience is used for Russell. It's hard having a 62-year old man in your camp always complaining about everything. It's so annoying.
-Day 4-
JB: Come on in, guys!
*Castaways enter*
JB: Are you guys ready for today's reward challenge?
All: Yes!
JB: For today's challenge, each castaway will have a basket containing five items. You must try to match one of their items with another castaway. The tribe with the most matches wins reward. Do you want to know what you are playing for?
All: Yes!
JB: You are playing for comfort! Pillows, blankets, mattress, hammock, everything you need to feel comfy! Is that worth playing for?
JB: Piperi, you have won reward! Congratulations! Head back to camp. Valaxa, I have nothing for you. Head back to camp.
-Day 5, Valaxa-
Jonah (confessional): So far, everyone is getting along and we are one big happy family! Yay! I like the tribe I have picked so far! Hopefully this positive energy will translate into a victory at the challenge.
-Day 6-
JB: Come on in, guys!
*Castaways enter*
JB: As you can see, it is another Pandora's Box. This time however, the tribe must decide on whether to open it or not. Piperi, because you won the last challenge, you have the option to open first. If you decide to not open it, the decision will go to the Valaxa tribe. What have you decided?
*Piperi opens box*
JB: OK, Hatch, would you mind reading it?
*Hatch reads note*
Hatch: Dear recipient, you have received a 20-second disadvantage in today's challenge. Dear group, you have received a 20-second advantage in today's challenge.
JB: Those twenty seconds could be the difference in who wins or loses this challenge, with immunity on the line. Now, I will get to the immunity challenge. First, I will take back immunity.
*JB takes immunity*
JB: Immunity is back up for grabs. Six members of each tribe would race across a series of hills and into te water to retrieve a raft with puzzle planks tied to it. When all six members of the tribe return to shore with the raft, the puzzle planks will be untied and taken back to the start line. The two remaining tribe members will assemble the planks into a staircase. Once all of the tribe is at the top of the staircase, any two tribe members would work together to navigate a peg through a table maze, which would release the tribe's flag. The first tribe to release their flag wins immunity. Does everyone understand?
JB: Valaxa, you have won immunity. No tribal for you guys tonight. You are safe. Head back to camp.
*Valaxa exits*
JB: Piperi, tribal tonight. One of you is going home. I'll see you tonight.
-Day 6, Piperi-
Lorin (confessional): Tonight is the perfect opportunity to eliminate crabby Russ.
Lorin: I am going to voice my opinion, but I think that Russ should go.
Harlee: I agree.
Destiny: He lowers camp morale, and in this game, that is key.
Gina: Yes it is. That can be are pitch to everyone else.
----------------------
Lorin: We want Russ out.
Harlee: Yeah.
Hatch: Why?
Destiny: He's annoying, and he doesn't contribute around camp ONE BIT.
Gina: He also lowers camp morale.
Chicago: Those are some good points.
Eli (confessional): I'm a numbers guy, and if we do get rid of Russ, it is four girls and three guys. All of the girls are after Russ, and they are using this excuse of lowering camp morale as a reason to vote him out. I hope that us guys are not being lured into a trap. I might have to reconsider this vote.
-TRIBAL COUNCIL-
*Castaways enter*
JB: Destiny, after six days, how do you feel about the tribe you picked?
Destiny: I'll say that I would have made some decisions a little bit differently.
JB: Gina, who do you think is the weakest?
Gina: I think Russ is the weakest. Lorin & Harlee feel likewise.
JB: Lorin, Harlee, why do you think he is the weakest?
Lorin: He is a crabby, old man that lowers morale around camp.
Harlee: He also doesn't show up in the challenges.
JB: Russ, that shouldn't feel good knowing that three people think you are the weakest.
Russ: Being a 62-year old man on Survivor, I have been trying to kill the stereotype of old people not being good at this game. Well, it seems like my tribe hasn't given me a chance yet.
JB: Does anyone feel tat Russ isn't the weakest.
Eli: I don't. I think Gina is the weakest.
JB: Eli, why Gina?
Eli: Gina, she is just an annoying person, and she complains a lot. She has her little posse, Lorin & Harlee, and they act like they rule the place.
JB: Hatch, is it your strategy to be quiet?
Hatch: I don't think I am quiet. I think I have been laying low, and I have tried to avoid confrontation. That's different then being a floater.
JB: Chicago, what are you basing your vote off of tonight?
Chicago: I'm voting with the majority. It's best for me at this point to stay out of the drama.
JB: OK, it is time to vote. Harlee, you are up.
*Everyone votes*
JB: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll read the votes.
JB: Well, you guys have gotten rid of a person who didn't want to be here, and someone you found annoying. At some point really soon, you will have to start forming alliances and playing the game. Grab your torches. Head back to camp. Good night.
Russ (exit interview): I felt like my tribe never gave me a chance. I'm dissapointed because my main goal out here was to kill the old people stereotype. Unfortunately, I didn't do that. But, I hope by me coming out here, I have encouraged other grandparents to come out here and kill this stereotype.
