Episode 1: Deep In The Heart of Africa
On Day 1, Jeff divides the 18 castaways into two tribes, Punu in yellow, and Nzebi in turquoise. He gives each tribe a map and their supplies for a four hour hike to their camps. On Punu's hike, Ozzy begins flirting with Kenta, annoying the tribe mates right off the bat. Also, Jacquie begins to start throwing up, making the rest of the tribe question her stamina. On Nzebi's hike, the tribe bonds quickly, and all of them are working together with no complaining. When the tribes settle down and reach camp, Ozzy begins flirting with Kenta, Natalee, and Jacquie, and the four of them form an alliance. On Nzebi, Haley begins to feel ill as the rest of her tribe worries about her. At the immunity challenge, Punu & Nzebi are neck and neck through most of it, but Nzebi struggles on the puzzle, allowing Punu to pull ahead and win immunity. Facing tribal council, Haley asks her tribe to be voted out, citing that she didn't want to weaken the tribe. The rest of Nzebi granted her wish, and she was the first person voted out.

Episode 2: Us and Them
After Nzebi voted out Haley, the tribe remained in positive spirits, and maintained a can-do attitude. The next morning on Punu, Ozzy & his girls were deciding their strategy, and Ali was able to eavesdrop on their conversation, making her angry. Ali then rallied Delilah, Julio, Kris, and Zach to go against Ozzy. The five of them agreed, and they were in agreement to vote Ozzy out at the next tribal council. On Nzebi, Rudy & Daniel became close friends, and so did Sequoia & Mascara. The four of them agreed on a final four deal to be kept in secret. At the immunity challenge, Ozzy led the way, but it wasn't enough as Nzebi rebounded from their first loss with a victory. Back at Punu, Ozzy & the girls wanted Ali out as she was the weakest member. Jacquie & Kenta approached Delilah in voting out Ali. The alliance of Ali, Delilah, Julio, Kris, and Zach were considering voting out Ozzy or Kenta, the weakest member of the other alliance. However, Delilah was still questioning where to vote. In the end, she sided with Ali's alliance, and Ali's alliance decided to keep Ozzy for his strength and send Kenta home.

Episode 3: The Line in the Sand
Back at camp, Ozzy was frustrated as his ally was voted out. He was nervous as he realized his days were numbered. Jacquie & Natalee were also beginning to worry, as the rest of the tribe celebrated their small victory. The next day, day 7, Ozzy began to throw Jacquie & Natalee under the bus to Kris & Julio. Kris & Julio spread the word, and Jacquie & Natalee began to fight with Ozzy as the rest of the tribe watched with smiles from ear to ear. At Nzebi, the tribe remained in good spirits, as they were catching fish in the small pond with their supplies they got on the first day. At the immunity challenge, Nzebi's positivity led them to a second straight victory despite a valiant effort by Ozzy. Back at camp, Jacquie & Natalee lobbied for Ozzy to go, as Ozzy lobbied to get Natalee out. In the end, the majority alliance decided to keep Ozzy's strength once again, and Natalee was voted out. Back at camp, Jacquie began to cry as her friend was voted out, and an understanding Delilah was there to comfort her. The next day, the Survivors participated in the pre-merge auction, where Punu won fishing gear, and a dozen cheeseburgers as Nzebi won letters from home, and a mini-Thanksgiving feast. Everyone's spirits were high going into the immunity challenge, where Nzebi won their third straight immunity. Back at Punu, it looked like Jacquie was the next to go, but Jacquie made an impressive campaign to keep her in the game and bounce Ozzy. At tribal council, her plan succeeded as Ali, Delilah, Julio, Kris, and Zach turned on Ozzy and send him packing on Night 12.

Episode 4: All Good Things Come to an End
Back at Punu, Jacquie was surprised she was still in the game, but knew her days were numbered as she was 1 vs. 5. And the next day, her worst nightmare came true as Jeff announced that both tribes would go to tribal council on Day 13. Back at camp, she tried all she could to find a crack in the alliance of five, but the alliance was too strong, and they voted her out unanimously at tribal council. At Nzebi, the decision was slightly difficult. JB got Jong, Finn, Rudy, and Daniel together to make an all-guys alliance, and Rudy & Daniel, wanting to keep Sequoia & Mascara in the game, targeted Marie. The rest of the tribe agreed, and Marie was voted out unanimously.

Episode 5: Two Paths
Back at Punu, the alliance of five dubbed themselves the Punu 5, and vowed to never lose a challenge again. At Nzebi, Finn & JB wanted to solidify the guys' alliance to go the distance. Rudy & Daniel agreed, but they were unsure which way they would want to go. The next day, the two tribes competed for a picnic reward. Punu won, and grew closer after their afternoon excursion. Meanwhile on Nzebi, Rudy & Daniel notified Mascara & Sequoia that they were being targeted by Finn, JB, and Jong. Rudy & Daniel wanted to keep their options open and didn't want to commit to a side unless they had to. After the two tribes created SOS signals for immunity, Rudy & Daniel realized they needed to pick a side after they had lost to Punu. Sequoia & Mascara wanted Finn gone, and Finn, JB, and Jong wanted to vote out Mascara, because they deemed her the weakest member of the tribe. At tribal council, Rudy & Daniel sided with their original alliance, stunning Finn as his torch was snuffed by Jeff.

Episode 6: Blindsided
After Finn was voted out, JB & Jong were surprised and wanted answers from Rudy & Daniel. JB & Jong were angry and realized they were now on the bottom. The next day however gave them a glimmer of hope. The final eleven castaways were going to compete individually in a challenge, and the last person to finish the challenge would be eliminated from the game. One by one, they finished the challenge, until it came down to Delilah and Mascara, and Delilah finished just seconds before Mascara, making her the first member of the jury. Sequoia, Rudy, and Daniel were gutted, and it only became worse. Jeff then announced that there would be a tribe switch. The new tribes were:
NuPunu: Delilah, Julio, Kris, Daniel (switch), Rudy (switch)
NuNzebi: JB, Jong, Sequoia, Ali (switch), Zach (switch)
At Nzebi, Sequoia tried to get on JB & Jong's side, but JB & Jong had shunned her, and threatened her that she would be the next to go. Ali & Zach were worried that they would be on the chopping block, but JB & Jong had asked them to vote Sequoia out next, surprising the two of them. At Punu, Delilah, Julio, and Kris vowed to stick together and eliminate Daniel & Rudy if given the chance. But Punu won immunity, and Daniel & Rudy were safe. At Nzebi, Sequoia had approached Ali & Zach about possibly eliminating JB, and the two seemed intrigued. However, JB & Jong told them that she was aligned with Daniel & Rudy, and Ali & Zach thought that it would be easier to defeat JB & Jong than it would to defeat Daniel, Rudy, and Sequoia, so the two Punus sided with JB & Jong and voted out Sequoia, sending her to the jury.

Episode 7: The Merge Hit the Snooze Button
The final nine were anticipating a merge to come on Day 21, the halfway point of the season, but Jeff surprised them with a reward to go on an African safari. Nzebi won, and enjoyed an afternoon of the wildlife. Back at camp, Ali, JB, Jong, and Zach realized they had to win the immunity challenge or they would end up going to rocks at tribal council. Their determination allowed them to defeat Punu at the immunity challenge. At Punu, Rudy & Daniel tried to persuade Delilah into switching sides and voting out Julio, but Delilah stayed with her original allies and Daniel was sent to the jury. Back at camp, Rudy realized that he was in deep trouble after he had lost his closest ally. The merge was again anticipated on Day 24, but did not come. Jeff held another reward challenge in which the winners would go to a waterfall for the afternoon. Punu won and was refreshed going into a crucial immunity challenge. At Punu, Delilah, Julio, and Kris realized that if they were to win, then Ali or Zach could be voted out, so they threw the memory matching immunity challenge, pissing off a helpless Rudy, and sending him to the jury. After Rudy was voted out, Jeff gave Delilah, Julio, and Kris seven green buffs, a map to Nzebi's old camp, and a new tribe donning their new name "M'ba."

Episode 8: The Merge Finally Woke Up
Ali, JB, Jong, and Zach were excited to see Delilah, Julio, and Kris walk into their camp on Night 26, announcing the merge. The seven celebrated through the night and woke up the next morning with a hardy breakfast. The Punu 5 promised that they would go to the final five. Inside the Punu 5, Ali & Delilah agreed to a final 2 deal, and Kris & Julio agreed to a final 2 deal themselves, leaving Zach on the outside. JB & Jong realized they were on the outs and needed to try and work every angle. They tried to persuade Ali & Delilah to flip first, but the girls were uninterested. Then they approached Kris & Julio, but they did not budge. They soon began to realize that the only way to stay alive was to win immunity, but Zach was the winner of the first individual immunity challenge. JB & Jong tried to work everyone once again, but once again, they were unsuccessful, and the Punu 5 decided that JB would be voted out.

Episode 9: Make Your Move
Back at M'ba, Jong was stressing the fact that someone would need to make a move, and the first person to make a move would win the game. The Punu 5 shook it off, and still wanted to make the final five together. At the reward challenge, Jong won reward, and chose to take Ali & Delilah with him to a Gabonese village to donate school supplies to the school. The reward also came with their favorite meal and a bed. Jong took this time to talk game with Ali & Delilah, and the girls listened, but were not interested in Jong's proposition. Jong knew his best chance to stay in the game was to win immunity, which he did. Jong won immunity and ruined the chances of the Punu 5 going the distance. Zach wanted to get the guys together to vote out Delilah, but Kris & Julio were worried about Zach going on an immunity streak. The girls shared the same fear, and they combined to vote out Zach.

Episode 10: Time to Stop Playing And Start Winning
Back at camp, the Punu 5 agreed to still stick together and that Jong would be the next to go. At the Survivor luxury competition the next day, Delilah won nothing, Julio won an African safari, Ali won $5,000, Jong won a new car, and Kris won an advantage in the next immunity challenge. Jong tried hard to win the immunity challenge, but Kris's advantage was too much for him to overcome, and Kris secured himself a spot in the final four. Back at camp, Jong approached the men & the women about the final four scenario in having to draw rocks. The women were still content with the idea of drawing rocks, but Jong had gotten to the men, and they decided to vote with Jong and stunning Ali, as she was voted out 3-2. However, before the final four went back to camp, Jeff had some unfinished business for the castaways.

Episode 11: Flipped On a Dime
Jeff brought in the loved ones' of the final four and said that they would be able to go to Ponderosa, spend time with loved ones, and mend fences with jurors, in exchange for no participation in the next immunity challenge. For the first time in Survivor history, nobody took the loved ones' temptation, and the final four went back to camp. The guys celebrated, but Delilah was upset about Kris & Julio's betrayal. The next day, Kris & Julio apologized to Delilah, and still said they wanted to go to the final three with her. Delilah agreed on the deal, but was unsure if she would go through with it. Jong approached Delilah not much longer after Kris & Julio approached her, and wanted to know if she would be interested in going to the final two with him. Delilah had not ruled Jong's plan out as a possibility before the immunity challenge. At the immunity challenge, Julio won, but Jeff proposed an interesting offer. He gave him the option to swap immunity for an advantage in tomorrow's immunity challenge if he were still around. Julio accepted the offer and gave up immunity confident that he would be around for the final immunity. Jong used that as another vantage point to sway Delilah to his side, but Delilah wanted to stay loyal to Punu like she had for the past 38 days even if it meant elimination, and Jong's luck had run out as he was voted out on Day 38.

Episode 12: Finale
After Jong was voted out, Delilah, Julio, and Kris celebrated the final three together. Kris & Julio maintained their final 2 agreement, stating that Delilah would be a huge jury threat. At the final immunity challenge, it was an endurance battle, and Julio had two lives compared to Kris & Delilah's 1 life. Kris was the first out, and Julio lost his first life next, but before Julio could lose his second life, Delilah fell from her pedestal, and Julio won final immunity. Julio chose to honor his final two deal with Kris and make Delilah the final jury member on night 39. Julio & Kris celebrated their accomplishments on Day 40, and on their way to tribal council, gave their 16 fallen comrades a rite of passage. At the final tribal council, the nine jury members, Mascara, Sequoia, Daniel, Rudy, JB, Zach, Ali, Jong, and Delilah, grilled the final two with tough questions, and most of them came to the conclusion that Kris took more risks than Julio and played more of a leader role of the two, which gave him the victory 7-2. Rudy & Daniel dissented, as Mascara, Sequoia, JB, Zach, Ali, Jong, and Delilah made Kris the sole survivor.
