PREVIOUSLY on Big Brother, the seven evictees returned to the house to claim two spots, and Ry and James came out victorious. Adele, Chris, and Candy were all fighting for the HOH and the ability to break up with their partner. When Adele offered a deal for safety, Candy was on board, but Chris wasn't. Chris and Adele fought for a while for HOH, but Adele ultimately came out as the victor. Adele was conflicted about whether or not to keep Candy and Chris safe after the promise she made to Candy and Chris's lack of trust. Ultimately, she targeted Ethan and Hope, with Ethan as her target. Ethan foiled Adele's plans and won the POV, and other people began to push harder to put Chris and Candy up. She opted to keep them off the block a second time and Davos became the replacement nominee. After the ceremony, Hope began to target Davos and Bob for being floaters. In the end, Hope's hail mary was a bust and she became the first to join the jury. Tonight, an instant eviction will rock the house and more will join the jury tonight on Big Brother.

JB: Houseguests, please head to the backyard for the HOH competition.

JB: Houseguests, the power is back up for grabs. Tonight's competition is called "20,000 Fishies Under the Sea" and here is how it works. There is a monitor that will show on the screen as fish will swim by. Your job is to count how many fish pass the screen and buzz in when you think 20,000 fish have swam by. Because this challenge is very difficult, you will work in pairs. Candy & Chris, you will be one pair. Ry & James, you will also be a pair. The other four of you, Armanti, Davos, Ethan, and Leslie, you will be randomly split into two other pairs. The pair who is the closest to 20,000 fish will both be HOH. Does everybody understand?
All: Yes!
JB: OK, Armanti and Davos, you are one team. Ethan and Leslie, you are another team. Bob, you are ineligible to compete in the HOH as a result of the last POV competition, and Adele, you are ineligible to compete as you are the outgoing HOH. The monitor will start now guys. Good luck!

Armanti (DR): I'm feeling a little iffy playing this competition with Davos, but what can you do?
Davos (DR): I'm looking to win this competition and take Adele out. That's the goal. She put me up, but she made a mistake when she didn't put me out.
Leslie: We got this.
Ethan: Yep.
Ethan (DR): I need to win this HOH to keep me in the game, so I'm going to be very supportive of Leslie here. I kind of have to be if I want to win this HOH.
Leslie (DR): This is a team challenge, and I don't want to win this challenge, so I'm going to throw this.
*Leslie buzzes in*
Leslie: Oops. I didn't mean to do that.
Ethan (DR): Total bullshit.
JB: Ethan & Leslie have locked in. Three more teams still need to lock in.
Chris (DR): Leslie locks in her & Ethan at about 900 fish. We need 20,000, so it's clear that Leslie tried to throw that.
Candy (DR): That might have been the worst throw of a challenge I've ever seen.
*2 hours later*
Armanti (DR): This is a really difficult challenge. I kind of want to throw it like Leslie did, but I want to win HOH for myself. I think Adele and I might be put up together, but I don't think Leslie has anything to worry about.
Ry: I'm starting to think we are close.
James: You sure?
Ry: Yeah.
James (DR): Ry thinks we are close, and I'm telling her to wait, but we lock in anyway.
*Ry buzzes in*
JB: Ry and James have buzzed in. It is now down to Armanti & Davos and Chris & Candy.
*1.5 hours later*
Candy (DR): The other two teams must have counted something different because we have been up here a good ninety minutes after Ry & James finished, but now we think we are close, so we want to make a deal.
Candy: If you guys give us this one, you're safe. Both of you.
Armanti (DR): I'm a little hesitant to say yes, just because it isn't a guarantee that they are even the winners of the competition.
Armanti: What if you guys don't win?
Chris: It's either you guys or us. We won't put you up, but it's important that you guys split us up because we are a pair.
Davos: I'm good with that.
Davos (DR): I think they will keep me safe, which is very important for my game. I get to compete in the next HOH, it's logical at this point to do it.

Chris: This is tough but I'm going to nominate Ry & James. They are a duo and getting them out of the house makes a lot of sense right now.
Ry: Dammit.
James: Wow.
JB: Thanks. Who is your second nominee?
Chris: I'm going to nominate Leslie because she's close with Ry and she did my boy Ethan dirty during the HOH.
Leslie: How did I?
JB: Thank you Chris. You may go to the living room.

JB: Chris, your houseguests were listening in on our conversation, which is why the nominees are already on the nominee bench and everyone is clued in on what is going on. This is an instant eviction and either Ry & James or Leslie will be heading to the jury house. I will give each of the nominees a moment to plead their case. Ry & James, you are first.
Ry: We just got back in here and I would hate for this second chance to end so soon. I'm not ready to leave so please keep us.
James: Guys, we can be a shield for all of you during the game. We are the only pair left and although that seems like a threat, it can be an asset if you use us right. I understand if you evict us, but we will never win in a final two and it'd be smart to keep us around.
JB: Thank you Ry & James. Leslie, you are up.
Leslie: I have fought my ass off to be here and I deserve to be here. Please keep me here because I have more to give and I'm not done yet.

Leslie, are you surprised to be here tonight?
Leslie: Very. I thought I was in a good spot in that house.
JB: A lot of us did, but do you think that's why you might have been evicted? Maybe you were in too good of a spot?
Leslie: I can see why Chris might have thought that, yeah.
JB: Do you think you might be sitting here because you threw the HOH?
Leslie: No. I don't think that was the case unfortunately. Chris said that in the DR but I don't think that's true. I think he was just looking for a reason to put me up and he didn't have a good one so he made something up.
JB: Who do you think will win?
Leslie: I think Adele or Armanti will win. Both of them are great and their social game is solid. It wouldn't surprise me if either of them won.
JB: OK Leslie, you are off to the jury house to join Hope and we will see you back here on finale night to crown our winner.
