My next to last pick of the AHS season is freakshow. I wanted to actually rank it higher but I just cant because everyone else thinks it is godawful. It was the first season I watched and It was actually the season that got me hooked so I think that's why I have a soft spot for it. I'm gonna start by listing the positives.
*Jessica Lange absolutely killed it with her portrayal of Elsa. I think its a shame that this was her last season because I truly consider her one of the best talents to ever bless television.
*I loved how they used actual freaks. I fell in love with all of them, especially ma petite. And I know everyone hated when they killed her off but I support it because I literally pissed myself.
*This season was all about character development. There wasn't a singal character that I felt unsatisfied with this season except for maybe emma Robert's...
*the backstory for pepper was absolutely amazing. The finals scene with here crying and Elsa in a magazine made me cry.
Now lets get to why I think this season was so hated....... it literally had the most amazing concept ever. It had so much potential and so many amazing characters with such a great storyline and motivation and development, but the execution was not up to par. I found myself feeling like it could've been so much more. I seriously don't know if this is a bad or good thing but THAT SEASON ENDED WITH ME WANTING SO MUCH MORE..... and I knew I wasn't getting it.... Idk, I just loved it so much and then it was ruined by a poor ending. I get why people hate it because I was so disappointed with the way it was all wrapped up as if they were just trying to finnish it up and gave up on it. Ultimately, this season had the most positives for me but it also had the most negatives, which is why it is number 4.
