:::::THE REAL VIEW:::::
:::::SEASON 1: EPISODE 3:::::

JAY: “Hello and welcome to The Real View! We’re happy to have guest co-hosts, Trent Matthews ( Likeaboss) and Riley C. Pegasiis ( rileythepegasus101) filling in for Carly and Klaus today! Let’s get into some “Real Talk!”

:::::TOPIC 1:::::

JAY: “The attacks against Brussels in the last week have once again brought the issue of terrorism to the center of the world stage. Do you think we as the world will be able to overcome terrorism, and if so how?”

KASEY: “I think terrorism is a terrible thing, but, I doubt it will ever be fully out of the picture. By the end of the world, terrorism will still be a problem and it'll never be fully solved until everything is destroyed.”

RILEY: “You know it never will be eradicated. People are always going to find some way to be mad at each other, and will always make mountains out of molehills. It is honestly really sad that you can't have peace without war.”

TRENT: “Terrorism isn't gonna go away. Can it be decreased? Absolutely. But until a strong leader will step up and countries unite, that won't happen.”

JAY: “It absolutely saddens me but I have to agree with everyone. Terrorism is a terrible thing that can affect anybody at anytime anywhere and there is absolutely nothing we as a world can do to stop it. No matter how many laws the governments enforce, no matter how many security guards we hire, no matter how hard society educates, all it takes is one person and one bomb to destroy society. I can’t believe that some people are willing to go to such extremes to get a point across and it sickens me. I can’t believe some people are able to justify taking innocent civilians lives for a "greater good" (in their eyes).”

RILEY: “Yeah, terrorism isn't just going to die. It isn't a thing. It's an IDEA. Ideas don't die out as easily as things. If you find a terrorist on his last breath telling a kid to do an act of terror for whatever reason, who is to say that this terror won't happen? Ideas are hard to stop.”

KYLIE: “I just really hope we all not only pray for these victims, but do what we can to help as well. This is tragic. I don't think terrorism is something we could stop because it also comes in the form of playground bullies to bombings.”

ANDELL: “I honestly think Terrorism is awful, like how can someone even do this? I agree with all of you, it really can affect anyone at anytime. And it sucks that in all reality, there is nothing we can do. It just happens and it affects people. It's sad.”

JAY: “We all seem to be agreeing that there is nothing we can do, but just to throw the idea out there, could this be an issue. Is the fact that everyone sits back and can't see a solution a contributing factor to terrorism? I do think it is a fair statement that there is no possible solution that will eradicate terrorism completely, but I think there is a way we can make the terrorists second guess their decisions. The point of terrorism is to scare people into not doing day to things, like catching a plane, going to the mall and what not. If we as a nation continue to just be our normal selves and show the terrorists that we are not scared, we will show them what they are doing is NOT working.”

“Let’s move on to another tough subject…”

:::::TOPIC 2:::::

JAY: “#FreeKesha has been trending on all social media platforms for a few months now, but has only really captured a wider audience in the past month when Kesha was refused early termination of her contract with her abuser Dr. Luke. What do you think this says about society? Is this advocating that it is okay to sexually, physically and mentally abuse women?"”

KASEY: “Okay, if Kesha was a dude with a penis, they'd be like "wow rape really is an issue, let's help him and get him out of his contract, because he's hot and has penis" but nope. Kesha had to fight for her freedom. She's really so strong and deserved to be free at the start. Rape has no gender.”

RILEY: “THIS. IS. WHAT. I'M. HERE. FOR. Rape should be taken seriously. They NEVER wanted to have this happen to them! Kesha was sexually violated and taken advantage of. She needs to be let out of her contract NOW.”

TRENT: “It's definitely advocating rape! Now I don't necessarily believe that if she was a guy that she'd be let go of her contract. But the fact of the matter is that she has been violated and wrongly treated and that is something that needs to change about our society.”

JAY: “I think what’s even worse about this is if she wants to make a living, if she wants to have a financial income SHE MUST WORK WITH HER ABUSER!!!! Sony can claim all these things that she has other options but the fact of the matter is what they are trying to do is mend a deep cut with a plastic band-aid. It shocks me that so many people can be in favor of Kesha but the courts aren’t? Is America not a democratic society? There is clearly a flaw in the justice system if such an injustice can occur.”

ANDELL: “This is so terrible! When i heard about what happened to Kesha, it made me so sad. Like, how can someone as a person do this to someone? It's so terrible. I honestly hope Kesha gets justice and her old manager or whatever he was gets put in jail. I do honestly miss her music and hope to hear something new from her someday.”

JAY: “It saddens me that the justice system say there is no "proof!” So you are telling me that you think it is a possibility that one of the greatest music artists of her time has decided not to make music, and as a consequence not have a stable income for four years simply to lie about being sexually abused? Ok bye Felicia.”

:::::INTERVIEW:::::

JAY: “Stardom! Season 14 has kicked off as a season dedicated to honoring the show that started it all, American Idol. Judges Carrie Underwood ( carlyjordan14), Adam Levine ( Brandonh1), Kelly Clarkson ( Arcaninemaster), Stevie Nicks ( tuter32) and Brendon Urie ( imprincearthur) are here to discuss the brand new season of the hit Tengaged show! Thank you all for being here.”

KELLY: “Thank you for having us!”

KASEY: “How does it feel to be so successful as a Tengaged group? Stardom is basically a group game legend. How does it feel to be apart of that?”

BRENDON: “Honestly, it has been a pleasure to be a part of one of the biggest musical groups ever. My band Panic At The Disco was a contestant during season 13.”

CARRIE: “I really think what keep Stardom! going is the dedication the voices have to the competition. It's also a show that isn't a direct copy of another. It was based on the concept of mixing all the best parts from shows like American Idol and The Voice. Having been an original judge, I'm so grateful to have been able to be a part of the success of Stardom!.”

ADAM: “It's amazing being apart of such a historical and fantastic vocal competition. From being a act in season one to joining the panel season two and being set to judge and mentor the fourteenth season is amazing. It's been great to watch and see how much Stardom! as grown from season one to now season fourteen.”

KELLY: “It's really inspiring. I joined Stardom! early on because I really believed in a show like this. The versatility of each season just allows for so many different and wonderful singers to be showcased and I love that. To see it become a very popular group game has been super cool because I love the show, and knowing that others love it too makes it all worthwhile.”

STEVIE: “When I was presented with joining the Stardom panel I knew it was something I couldn't pass up. When we were five or six seasons I knew it would be here for a long time.”

RILEY: “What's the secret for a great audition?”

BRENDON: “There are many factors that play into a great audition such as fantastic vocals, great energy, great charisma and great personality. But in order to be apart of the Stardom! stage you need more than just that.”

CARRIE: “I think what Brendon said is very true. In order to really make it in this competition, you have to be more than a pretty face and voice.”

ADAM: “I agree with what Brendon said, I also think your first performance should be one of your best performances to wow the judges and cement your place in the competition.”

KELLY: “For a great audition, I'm looking for someone who can pull off a stunning vocal, but be entertaining as well. This goes for me as well when I'm judging the show. Obviously performances are what people see, but you have to combine that with what people hear and mash it into something that fits both categories. Especially in auditions, I also look for people with potential. First performances aren't always the best, and I understand that. And as a Coach and Mentor, I know that artists can grow, and I've seen that with members of my own Teams or other Coach's teams throughout the season, and it's absolutely amazing.”

STEVIE: “I think making the judges say "wow" is the best way to make the best first impression.”

RILEY: “Brendon, you're a new addition to the Stardom team. Are you nervous? Excited?”

BRENDON: “Being a part of the Stardom! team makes me both nervous and excited. Nervous because I have to try to live up to the reputations of both the amazing Celine Dion, who was an original judge but sadly departed from the team due to personal matters, and also Tyler Posey, my mentor last season who departed due to his role on Teen Wolf. Excited because I was once a contestant on the thirteenth season of the series. My mentor was Tyler and even though we had our differences we made the finals.”

RILEY: “Carrie, you had your start on American Idol. Do you feel like this is a bit of a legacy you're leaving on the music industry?”

CARRIE: “I do. I originally wasn't going to come back until season 15, as I'm currently on tour. However, when I learned this fourteenth season would be honoring Idol, I knew I had to come back. Both shows mean so much to me and have impacted my career in so many amazing ways. I'm fortunate to be able to be apart of two legendary shows.”

RILEY: “That's so amazing to hear! I remember watching your season, and everyone else in my family wanted Bo Bice to win. When they announced you as the winner, I was FLOORED. You were my absolute favorite and look at where you are now.”

CARRIE: “Aww, thank you!”

RILEY: “You've also had connections with other singing competition shows, Adam with The Voice and Kelly with being the original winner of American Idol. What makes Stardom so unique from other shows?”

ADAM: “Stardom! brings a lot of diversity and week after week and season after season it opens my eyes to talent and music genres I've never listened to I’ve seen underdogs go from almost being eliminated to winning the entire competition. Stardom just has that IT factor that no other show or competition has so on any day I'd choose stardom for that reason.”

JAY: “I LOVE YOU ALL!!! An open question. What role do you feel American Idol has played in shaping the pop music industry?”

CARRIE: “I think it's done so much. With Idol there wouldn't have been a Stardom! Or even The Voice. Idol started something that other shows have struggled to do and that's make household names. You know of Kelly Clarkson, Chris Daughtey, Jennifer Hudson and so many others, including myself, because of Idol. It's changed music in general I believe and that's what we try to do each season with Stardom!”

RILEY: “Okay, we've all been talking about the best types of auditions. For all of you, what has been the worst audition you've ever seen on the show?”

ADAM: “I don’t want to name names but we've seen some bad auditions, some people have a lot of pitch issues throughout the entire performance and some times you cant hear what people are even saying but yeah I've seen some very bad performances.”

JAY: “Thank you all for being here! Good luck on this new season!”
