Today, I got runner-up in my second game--a heck of a lot better than my first attempt, which for the record, I was eliminated from while I was away for the weekend helping a friend move into an apartment. Anyways, about this game: I was a bit shocked because to be honest, I had forgotten that I'd enrolled in a second game. I miraculously survived the first 4 rounds--for either 3 or 2 of which I was nominated, I'm not sure which since I wasn't there for any of the four rounds.
It seems I survived for 2 reasons:
1. I PM'd people randomly at the very start of the game.
2. A bunch of people with green shirts in the game decided to form the GSA--The "Green Shirt Alliance"--and since I had a green shirt and was inactive, they figured there was no harm in keeping me!
So the more active players got booted while me, some random chick named Megs, and a girl who's power went out right around the time I returned to the game all kept on surviving. That's right, 3 of the people in the final 5 game had been inactive for multiple rounds. So I just started posting a lot and PMing people and doing all that...and WHAM! Before I know it, I'm runner-up.
Kuosical won the game--and very deservingly so, might I had. He was by far the most active, and he also seemed to form this "Green Shirt Alliance" that saved my ass during the first four rounds of the game. Or at least, I think he did. I'm not really sure, because I was never there.
Anyways, the point is, I had fun, and I'm very pleased with the results of this game. This makes me want to play even more...so I've just enrolled in a new game! How will it turn out? Will I end up becoming inactive again? I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
