My city is hosting the RNC this summer

I work downtown and the building that I work in is advising the people who work there to work from home that week, but my cafe is still going to be open, I'm legitimately stressed about it.

I might end up just taking that whole week off of work, because I know traffic is going to be insane and public transportation might be rerouted and stuff. But I'm also really annoyed about it, because like, I want to use my vacation days for time off for things I wanna do, not because fucking Republicans are making my life harder.

I hate everything.

Is there anything that you could do in that week that would make it worth taking off? Cause if not then I’d hate you having to use those days

konohavillage1 I'm trying to think about it, like I could plan a short trip or something but like, I would rather plan something like that for around my birthday in August, so it's just annoying.
