Why on EARTH is #Eliotwhi banned. I get that rules are rules but lets not forget the importance of context. You are giving someone who said the f word completely blurred out the max punishment because he stood up to, and cleared the air, fake transphobia ?
The whole point of rules is to protect the users from the exact things eliot was speaking up against. I understand its easy to get overzealous on theunbiased enforcement of rules but lets not forget the reason behind making said rules.
i reckon in cases like these where there was no malicious intent it could be much better dealt with with a warning/infraction and/or even a blog deletion than a ban

Agreed! I think context is very important. If someone says the bannable words to hurt someone they should face consequences but I belive in this case it’s not the case
Couldn't agree with the three of you christossssBengalBoyAshleybabyx3 more, context is key in all situations and if anyone should have been banned in that fiasco it should have been Ben.
Agree with everything above ^
I suppose mailing mods rather than blogging it may have been a better approach, but I completely get why he did it and it's clear there was no malicious intent. I'm honestly shocked he is banned, it doesn't seem right at all.
