My college, Goucher, requires you to study abroad to graduate. They even give you $1,200 to go towards your trip. My financial aid covered it. I have scholarships, grants, loans. I work hard in school. I have a 3.6 GPA. I've been through a lot. Having starting college at Knox in Illinois and withdrawing sophomore year due to depression. I am still graduating on time after AP credits, taking 9 credits in the summer, taking multiple semesters with 18 credit hours (next semester will be my 3rd time doing this).
I had over $4,000 in my bank account probably closer to $4,500. Everyone who studies abroad here is fucking rich. Everyone was going to all this extravagant places, so I wanted too as well even though I couldn't afford it. I pretty much wiped out my Wells Fargo account (and had to close it) due to my Thailand trip in early April. Yes it was a dumb decision. I am one of the most money cautious individuals you will ever meet, but when you study abroad things change. You want to go places.
I had to change dorms because of the immaturity of living with 17-18 year olds Aussies. I am 21. It was like high school all over again. I am going to be a senior in college not a freshman. So I moved out and I needed money for food, so my dad has been giving me some. I also paid for my trip to New Zealand, so stop acting like I just mooch off my parents. I work hard. I've had jobs. Yes, I made some foolish decisions money wise, but obviously I am paying for it.

Gurl if I wanted a life story I'd watch the fucking Kardashians.
koolness234 lol i don't care but when people attack me, I will defend myself. You know I'm hated as fuck. Just look at my last blog and the negs. I can careless.
Coreyants I think Koolness234 is trying to say that you don't have to justify your life choices to us.
While I get that your parents didn't pay for everything, they still had to pay for things which weren't necessary. Your spending, credit card bill, clothes and some of your holiday expenses.
I've never been on a holiday by myself but I've seen how debt can ruin lives so I barely spend my money unless it's important. That's my perspective.
Don't let peer pressure succumb you, make your own responsible choices. Then your parents would see that you're not relying on them.
Actions speak louder than words.
Short version: I don't care bout yo life.
