[#20] Top 20 Most Iconic LoL Champions

imageSeeing as a lot of Tengaged has taken a liking to League of Legends, I thought it would be fun to make a top 20 blog series of the most iconic characters in the game. This pretty much means characters that are either the most recognizable, the ones that have impacted gameplay the most  competitively and in solo queue, or characters that for one reason or another have a huge following among the large player base and fans of the game. This should be pretty fun, let me know if you want to be tagged if you're interested. xD

At number 20, we have Urgot. Say what you want about this pile of trash, but he has grown into one of the most iconic champions just solely for the bad state that he has been in for multiple seasons. Urgot is known as one of the most unfortunate champions. He's fairly old and clunky in comparison to the newer champion kits, he is visually unappealing (crab-ugly monster-human???), and he has consistently held one of (if not, the) lowest popularity and win rates in the entire game for years. He is one of those champions where many question dodging the queue if Urgot is locked in on your team, and likewise - one of those champions that are just amazingly funny to ban out. It has turned into a household joke for many to say things like "better main Urgot" to poke fun at the champion's state, or in the case of certain live streamers "Nice Urgot cosplay" to poke fun at how fairly hideous Urgot is visually. Ex professional player Imaqtpie has been donated hundreds of dollars from fans and viewers alike to pull through with 24 hour Urgot streams in Master-Challenger ranked games. It's things like this that really push Urgot through the top in terms of champion following and to the top of the iconic champions list. Oh babe, you're so bad that you're so good.
