I was negging back when I was a newb, however I was doing it so that no one would notice unless they paid close attention to it. XD (That, and I was keeping my plussing/negging even)
I'm currently playing my first two games ever, but I guess I wound up in good games because everyone explained to me now nominations work and how checks work.
Then again, I would have no idea that negging is old school, haha.
