Karma's Mind Grapes 2 Mar 23, 2009: This argument: If time travel is possible, then it’s already happened and they’ve come back.

Yeah, sure. I mean…if someone comes up to me and says “I’m from the future”…the first thing I think is “oh, time travel is possible” not “oh, an escape mental patient.”

And even if time travellers did come back, how would they prove it to us?

“I am from the future! Here, come with me into my spaceship.”

Karma's Mind Grapes Mar 23, 2009: We pull wool off a sheep, so we can wear it…but how did we know that it would keep us warm? Someone asked the sheep? And even if that was possible, it would be a pretty underhanded thing to do:

“That, ah…that…you know, stuff you have on you…”

“Wool.”

“Yeah, wool…it, um…does it keep you warm?”

“Well, yeah…especially at night.”

“Mmm hmm…”

“Why do you ask?”
