Welcome back to Dream Idol Unit, There is 36 contestants, 18 from YG Entertainment ( princesspretty)’s company and 18 from SM Entertainment ( ikaw0ng)’s company. There will be a battle to debut in the final lineup with 9 members. Each company has entered 6 sub-units into the competition, made up of trainees who have trained together for up to 3 years, some up to 3 months.
In the previous episode, we got to know all of our contestants and trainees. They each performed with their sub-unit and were ranked accordingly. However, the twist of this season is going to shake things up.
TWIST: WILDCARDS
Both SM and YG have entered 4 wildcards into the competition to compete for a spot in the final line up. These wildcards have practiced much longer than the other trainees. They will select which concept battle they would like to join so they can showcase their skills to the netizens. At the end of the episode after 2 units have been eliminated, the wild cards will enter the competition as a unit officially. However, to do so, they will have to decide which one of them to vote out.

But... before we meet our wildcards, lets discuss what is a 'concept battle'.
A concept battle is where 2 sub-units of the same genre will battle to see who is better at their concept. For example, the 'weird' battle would be between a group that has a quirky concept and a group that has a strange concept. These concept battles will occur some times throughout this competition. In the case of this episode, the companies will go head to head to see who are their top 3 sub-units and who which sub-unit will come out on top overall as the best at their concept.
THIS EPISODE WILL HAVE ELIMINATIONS. 2 Sub-units will be leaving by the end of this episode, so it is very important that the trainees practice very hard to ensure they do not get eliminated.

Hyeri ( PrincessPinklips): Ew yuck they look so untalented.
Risa ( Eilish): OMG Hyeri, they probably couldn't debut in a group so they had to do this gig *GIGGLES*
Princess: You girls will have a very important role. You each get to choose a group to join during the concept battles. So, I'd advise you to choose something you are the best at so you can really shine!
Ika: Speaking of... lets take a look at our concept battles for this episode!
Ika: The genres being battled are.... COOL, CUTE, CREATIVE.

Princess: Now remember, YG and SM will be versing eachother to win both battles. There will be 3 battles in total, so when I call your sub-unit's name please step forward.
Princess: CARAM3L and RE:BELLE . You ladies will be joining together to compete for the 'COOL' concept title! I have assigned you the song "Problem" by Ariana Grande to perform for us.
Princess: Girls' Evolution and Heygirls. Girls, you will join together to compete for the 'CUTE' concept title! I picked a VERY cute song for you to sing, "Mr. Chu" by Apink!
Princess: And finally, Cherish and Fairy. You will form a group to compete for the 'CREATIVE' concept title. I have chosen the song "Red Flavor" by Red Velvet for you to perform for us.

Princess: Now, wildcards... which performance would you like to join?
Saein ( LooseyLaduca): I would like to join the 'creative' team. I'm not used to this concept and would like to challenge myself, hwaiting!
Haein ( cheritaisdelicious): I have decided to choose the 'cute' team! *Does aegyo pose*

Ika: Now, as I am representing the SM Company, I will now decide which groups will battle against the YG groups in the group performances. So please step forward when I announce your name.
Ika: Celebrity and Smoothie. You ladies will compete for the 'CUTE' title! Please stand with eachother on stage. You girls will be singing the song "Ah Choo" by Apink.
*Hyeri and Risa death stare these girls*
Ika: RECRUITS and Everlast Girls. You will be forming a group and competing for the 'COOL' title. You will perform the song "How you like that" by BLACKPINK.
Ika: That leaves FANCI and GIRLKIND. I want you girls to fight for the 'CREATIVE' title! You may join eachother on stage. And you will be performing with the song "DIVA" by After School.
Ika: As for the wild cards... you may step forward and announce which group you would like to compete with!
*EUNBIN AND WONYOUNG STEP FORWARD AND LOOK AT THEIR OPTIONS*
Eunbin ( victoriaclark12): I will choose team 'Cute' to battle in. I think it is only fair since YG's team cute also has a wild card competing.
Wonyoung ( Pupdice): I pick the 'Creative' battle for the same reasons! Hwaiting!

*Confessional of Su-Jin ( Amixoxi): So.. no wild-card is competing in either of the 'Cool' battles which I think is kinda lame since I wanted to compete against a big threat.*

Princess: This concludes the team selection process. You have all been assigned your new groups and songs. You have a few days to practice before the performance where you will be judged by us.
Ika: One sub-unit from each company WILL be eliminated by the end of this episode... so please, I advise you to train hard and practice to make sure your performance is great!
Princess: Thank you girls. You are dismissed from the stage. Please head to your dorms or practice rooms.
