CONFESSIONAL: Nick
"That tribal council was pretty crazy, I almost went home. After the first vote, I flipped, but Max did as well. If he had just stuck loyal he'd still be in the game. Jacob and I both voted for Zach to go, so the two of us and Zach are at odds, but Zach and I both voted for Jacob to go, so the two of us and Jacob are at odds. This tribe is broken, and we've lost the glue that is Max."
Nick is talking to Jacob.
"We have talked 0 game, but at least I know that you are a trustworthy person. And I know I voted for you, but if we want to stay alive in this game we have to trust each other."
"I guess that's true. Everyone could use someone to rely on, especially with a swap coming up."
MATA MATA CAMP
CONFESSIONAL: Joey
"Since everyone figures the swap is soon, we all started to look for the idol."
Everyone did look for the idol, and Alvard found it.
CONFESSIONAL: Alvard
"This will definitely help me come swap. Especially with the already huge target on my back."
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE
Jeff reveals (Shocker!) that there will be a tribe dissolve into 2 tribes.
New tribes:
Mata Mata: Jax, Sai, CM, Justin, Nick, Zach, Jacob
Kontol: Alvard, Cal, Brenna, Joey, Ryan, Blaze, Christian
Mata Mata continues its win streak even with new members, and sends Kontol to tribal council.
MATA MATA CAMP
CONFESSIONAL: Jax
"I'm the only person from the original Mata Mata tribe, so I have to talk to people and make some connections fast. I feel like the new kid at school."
Sai, CM, and Justin are all talking.
"The three of us need to stay Kontol strong." CM says.
"I agree. If we can pull Jax over to our side, then we can take the Zakars out." Sai responds.
CONFESSIONAL: Justin
"Sai and CM seem dead set on an original Kontol tribe alliance. I don't know what I want to do yet, though. Maybe these Zakarian folk will be good to work with."
Zach, Jacob, and Nick are discussing strategy moving forward.
"If we all stick together, and we can talk to Jax, the four of us can take out the guys from Kontol." Zach says.
"Definitely. We've had our differences, but I plan on trying to win, and the three of us aligning is the only way any of us can." Jacob says.
CONFESSIONAL: Nick
"Zach and Jacob seem so sure about this alliance. I know that I am safe with my idol right now, and if we go to tribal before the merge, whose to say I won't flip on these guys? First day, they tossed me to the side. They might come to regret that."
KONTOL CAMP
The five Mata Mata are all in discussion.
"Obviously we need to stick together. Out of Blaze and Christian, who do you guys want to vote?" Cal asks them.
"Either works for me." Joey says.
"I think that we just need to feel them out and then make a decision later." Alvard says.
CONFESSIONAL: Christian
"After the swap I was disappointed as hell. I really got stuck on a tribe with 5 Mata Matas and my enemy! I don't see myself lasting much longer. Oh well."
Ryan pulls Alvard to the side.
"You know we've been talking about separating Brenna and Joey, and now is our chance." Ryan says.
"I don't know... doesn't it seem smart to stick with our original tribe? People we can trust?"
"But we can't trust Brenna. I say we approach Christian and Blaze, who will be MORE than happy to work with us considering they think that they're fucked right now, and we blindside Brenna."
"I mean... I'm just not sure. How do we know if we can trust Christian or Blaze? I feel like this is a really big move that we're making too early."
CONFESSIONAL: Alvard
"I lost last game by being a flipper and over strategizing. I just don't know if I can vote with Ryan this time."
Ryan approaches Christian and Blaze.
"I know that you guys think that you're on the bottom of the totem pole, but that can be changed."
"Oh yeah? Why?" Blaze asks.
"I have Alvard's vote. If you two vote with us, we can take Brenna out. She has been a devious player since day 1."
"I would definitely be down for that." Christian says.
TRIBAL COUNCIL
"Welcome to tribal council. Alvard, Cal, Brenna, Joey, and Ryan, behind each of you is a torch go ahead and grab it, dip it in and get fire. In this game, fire represents life, once your flame is out so are you. Brenna, is this an easy vote? There are five Mata Matas and only 2 Kontols."
"Yeah, I think so."
"Mmm, maybe not as clear cut as you'd think." Blaze says.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Brenna asks, quite angrily.
"Whatever you want it to, darling." Blaze responds.
Alvard looks distressed. "Alvard, do you know what Blaze is talking about?" Jeff asks.
"Maybe. I don't know." Alvard responds.
"Do you know what you're doing tonight?" Jeff asks.
"I think I do. But at the same time, I don't"
"Alrighty then. Does anybody have anything to say before we vote?" Jeff asks.
"Brenna's pretty." Joey says, and then starts to laugh along with Brenna. Everyone else just kind of looks annoyed.
Everyone votes, and then Jeff returns with the urn.
"If anybody has a hidden immunity idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so."
