Survivor Samoa had a fantastic cast with lots of great characters..... but one of the biggest characters in Survivor history cast a shadow over them, as well as dominating the game. Erik became arrogant, as he felt like the king of Galu. He told the alphas that the plan was Dave due to his intelligence, and he told Monica to vote for him. Dave and Kelly felt alone, so they knew that they had to get one of the alphas or Monica on their side, and they thought that their best bet would be Monica. They talked to her, and Monica considered flipping and voting Erik out because of his nauseating arrogance.
