Solve the riddle - You have two ropes. Each rope takes one hour to burn. These ropes are not identical, nor are they uniform; i.e. it does not necessarily take half an hour for half the rope to burn (if you have trouble visualizing this, imagine a rope of varying thickness across its length). With only these two ropes and a way to light them, how do you measure out 45 minutes?
Comments
light one end of one rope and both ends of the other rope
Light both ends of one rope so it burns in 30 minutes, then only one side of the second rope. once the first one burns out light the other end of the second rope
Since cococolin122 is inactive, I random.org'd his selection, and congratulations kagome70 you have been granted safety! Please pick one person you'd like to save.
Alright, here's the twist for this week: we'll be having a double elimination! Both nicklove09 and Maryland must pick 1 person each to compete in the duel, and 2 people will come back from the duel. With that being said, Maryland, nicklove09, please make your selections. (You can't pick Mission winner, xShift.)
Again, due to the lack of time, we must random.org nicklove09's decision! With that being said, sorry cococolin122 you will be competing in the first duel!
