The members of Tagi and Pagong step out of their helicopters and take their places on their tribe mats.
"Welcome to Survivor: Borneo!"
Everyone cheers.
"Niki, how do you think your tribe compares to Pagong?"
"Jeff, I think we have some awesome competitors on our team! I'm looking forward to this game!"
"Justin, which tribe looks stronger to you?"
"Pagong for sure. One of us is definitely taking the cake this season."
"Well, are you guys ready to get to your camps?"
Everyone cheers, and Jeff tosses them their maps.
Tagi Camp
Everyone at Tagi was getting along perfectly, except everyone took note of Connor.
CONFESSIONAL: Connor
"I've never been much of an outdoors guy. Actually, not at all. And, uh, I just love Survivor so I decided to come out here and play. I'm hoping to survive the first few days."
Zander pulled Micky aside. "You seeing this Connor kid? I hate to say it, but once we lose a challenge, you know who we have to get rid of first. He is weak, there's no way he'll be any help to us at all when it comes to challenges."
"I don't know. Give him a chance, you know it's just the first day."
"Whatever. But we have to keep Tagi as strong as we can."
CONFESSIONAL: Micky
"Well, that was uncomfortable. We've been here for like 10 minutes, all that strategy can wait!"
Jax approached Niki.
"You seem like just an awesome person that I can see myself working with."
"Aw! Thanks a billion! You are doing a really great job on the shelter and you and I would make a great pair! You look strong, you will probably do a great job in the challenge!"
CONFESSIONAL: Jax
"Woah, Niki's hitting on me? I'm liking this. Survivor might be more fun than I originally thought."
CONFESSIONAL: Niki
"Already getting offered! At first, I was worried about being the only girl on my tribe, but I'm already sensing lots of tension in the tribe. Jax came to me, and I threw some advances out there, and he seemed to really dig it. I'll make him think that I want him, whatever will get me further."
Pagong Camp
Right off the bat, there was bickering at camp.
"No, no, no we need to work on our fire first." Gina said.
"We have to at least get a place to sleep at night." Peih'Vonne argued.
Their bickering continued for a while.
CONFESSIONAL: Brenda
"Gina and Peih'Vonne bickered and bickered forever. I was going to have a migraine. Whatever, as long as it puts targets on their backs.
Justin and Caleb talked.
"Yo, we need to stay together. These girls are crazy." Justin said.
"Definitely dude. You and I can go far if we just stick together, these girls don't have a chance."
CONFESSIONAL: Caleb
"I already got myself into a solid alliance with Justin, so hopefully I can rely on that. Our plan is to work against these girls, but Brenda is something else. I think there could be something there, you know what I mean?"
Immunity Challenge
Come on in guys! Here's one of this season's twists: Idol Hunt. You can choose to either hunt for an idol, or help your tribe win immunity. There's a course near here where those who choose to hunt for an idol can look for one. I'll hand you all a white rock and a black rock. Reveal the white rock if you want to compete in the immunity challenge, reveal the black rock if you want to search for the idol. You can search for as long as the challenge goes.
Zander reveals the white rock.
Niki reveals the black rock.
Micky reveals the white rock.
Jax reveals the white rock.
Connor reveals the white rock.
Gina reveals the white rock.
Justin reveals the black rock.
Caleb reveals the black rock.
Brenda reveals the white rock.
Peih'Vonne reveals the black rock.
Alright, competing in the immunity challenge are Zander, Micky, Jax, and Connor for Tagi and Gina and Brenda for Pagong. Niki, Justin, Caleb, and Peih'Vonne will hunt for the idol as the challenge commences.
CONFESSIONAL: Peih'Vonne
"I already have a damn target on my back because of dumbass Gina arguing with me over the shelter and whatnot. I need an idol more than anyone."
CONFESSIONAL: Justin
"Caleb and I decided to look for the idol so we could keep our alliance safe once the merge comes around."
CONFESSIONAL: Niki
"Yikes. I expected at least one other person to look for the idol. Well, now I need it more than ever."
For today's immunity challenge, we'll be eating nasty foods!
CONFESSIONAL: Peih'Vonne
"Oh hell yes! I dodged that bullet."
One member from Tagi and one member from Pagong will come up and eat one of the food items. Whoever finishes it first will win a point for their tribe! First to 3 points wins!
First match-up! Micky versus Brenda! You'll be eating bull testicles!
Brenda was having a hard time stomaching the bull testicles, but Micky finished rather quickly and beat Brenda.
Next match-up, Jax versus Gina! You'll be eating pig brain!
Gina was absolutely disgusted by the pig brain, while Jax finished it pretty easily.
Tagi is now at 2 points, Pagong with none! This challenge will go quicker than I thought!
Next match-up, Zander versus Brenda! You'll be eating cow utter!
Brenda shoved it in her mouth as fast as she could, but her effort wasn't strong enough as Zander beat her to the punch, scoring Tagi's third and final point.
Tagi wins immunity! Pagong, head back to camp, you have a date with me at tribal council tonight.
Pagong Camp
Justin looked bummed out. He approached Caleb.
"No idol here bro."
"Yeah, me neither." Caleb pulled the idol out of his pocket.
CONFESSIONAL: Caleb
"Who has two thumbs and has a hidden immunity idol? THIS guy!"
"We are for sure running this game dude!" Justin said excitedly.
CONFESSIONAL: Gina
"Well, we lost the challenge so here we are. Since Peih'Vonne is weak, and she chose to hunt for the idol, she has to go. What if she has it?"
Brenda and Caleb were talking.
"So, you seem pretty cool... how'd you feel about voting together?" Caleb asked Brenda.
CONFESSIONAL: Brenda
"Caleb seems to like me. And he'll be an easy puppet to control. I mean, don't get me wrong, he is a hot guy, but I'm focused on the game."
Gina approached Justin and Caleb.
"I hope you guys are voting Peih'Vonne. She's cancer to the tribe. She's lazy, she can't compete, and she chose to look for an idol! We can't have some one like that on our tribe!"
CONFESSIONAL: Justin
"Um, Gina. WE CHOSE TO LOOK FOR AN IDOL!"
Justin, Caleb, and Brenda were congregating.
"Gina is crazy. She needs to calm it down." Justin says.
"She brings up some good points though. Peih'Vonne isn't necessarily the ideal tribemate." Brenda says.
"True, but whatever can be said about Peih'Vonne I think can be said about Gina." Caleb mentions.
Tribal Council
Welcome to tribal council. Go ahead, dip your torches and get fire. In this game, fire represents life. When your fire is out so are you.
Justin, you chose to look for an idol rather than help your tribe at the immunity challenge. Why?
"Well Jeff, I thought that it might work out for me. It didn't."
Caleb, do you feel safe tonight?
"You shouldn't ever feel safe in Survivor, but I haven't heard about my name being brought up."
Peih'Vonne, whose names have been brought up?
"Me and Gina. We've been bickering because she is super stubborn."
"I'm stubborn? Girl, look in a damn mirror! This is why your ass is going home!" Gina proclaims.
"We'll see about that girlfriend." Peih'Vonne says.
Well, with that let's get to voting! Justin, you're up first.
Everyone votes, then it comes to Peih'Vonne's vote.
Peih writes Gina's name down.
"Get your paranoid, annoying ass out of here."
The voting continues, until Gina comes up to vote.
"I mean it when I say that you are one of the single most annoying people I've met in my life."
I'll read the votes. If anyone has an idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so.
