It always amazes me when we get down to the last hours on a game how fast the time goes till its completely over. Came back for just a bit to wish splendergirl good luck, as well as the remaining players in the game. Hope I see some of you again in other games!
But they were closed today. I went there for nothing really as Wally World had ran out of Emerson LCDTV's and Hobby Lobby is closed on Sunday! We went to an Antique store downtown in the Kaufman Center. Its a huge block wide basement annex that has just about anything you might want for your house. I seen several sets of wicker that would look nice on my back porch...if I had money...lol Still fun to look and browse. How was your day at the ocean?
I did watercolor lithographs for a local gallery for years. One of my colleages operated the gallery from 74-88, or until she died from cancer. Then in 89 it was purchased by an investor and subsequently closed in the early 90's.
I love paint by number and coloring books, addicted to coloring! (great stress relaxer) I sketch my subject first very simply, then add some watercolor shadows, and lastly add a poem that comes from the heart. It takes awhile to fill a book though. I havent done a book in about twenty years.
I been gone most of the day. Picked up a friend early this morning and we headed towards the art gallery. They had a book signing for a local author that I wanted to attend near the University.
I can't believe it's the last day, it seemed like it went by so fast!
