Phase 3 will test your flexibility in this game.

Phase 3 will last for 3 rounds with each round functioning under different rules which I will post ALL of them now.  You 9 will be fighting to obtain one of SIX KEY CARDS to Phase 4: The Semifinals.  The only way to earn a KEY CARD, per usual, is to either win a challenge or a Fortress.

Here is how it will work:

Phase 3, Round 1: Trios

You will be divided into trios.  The trios will all participate in a challenge with the winning trio avoiding the Fortress.  IMMEDIATELY following the challenge, the winning trio will vote amongst themselves to give a KEY CARD to ONE OF THEM thus securing their spot in Phase 4 and the Top 6.  The two losing trios will each vote to send one person into the Fortress IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE CHALLENGE.  The 2 voted in will each select one possible Fortress game for the randomizer.  The 2 will do battle in the Fortress with the winner earning a KEY CARD to Phase 4 and a spot in the Top 6, while the loser is eliminated.

Phase 3, Round 2: Pairs

You will be divided into four pairs.  The pairs will compete in the challenge with the winning pair earning ONE KEY CARD to Phase 4.  If only one member of a pair is eligible then they automatically receive the KEY CARD.  If both can receive a KEY CARD then the remaining 6 players will choose which member receives the KEY CARD.  All players will also vote for one of the 3 remaining pairs to compete in the Fortress.  Majority rules.  If the pair chosen includes a player with a KEY CARD then the player without a KEY CARD will decide who their opponent will be amongst those who did not win the challenge and those without a KEY CARD.  All voting and deciding will occur DURING the challenge.  Each person competing in the Fortress will choose a game for the randomizer and the 2 will battle for a KEY CARD to Phase 4 while the other is eliminated.

Phase 3, Round 3: Individuals

All players will compete individually for points and a KEY CARD to Phase 4.  The player who does the best and does not have a KEY CARD will earn the spot in the Top 6 while the 2 remaining players will compete in the Final Fortress of Phase 3 for the last KEY CARD to Phase 4.  They will each choose a game for the randomizer and the winner of the Fortress will earn the last spot in the Top 6 while the loser is eliminated.
