The challenge will be NON-LIVE and begin NOW. It will last 24 hours.
This challenge is called Cast A Spell.
Each team will have their own thread. The 26 letters of the alphabet will then be randomly divided between the members of your team. Each individual will have letter (6 or 7 for each Team Atlas member and 1 or 2 for each Team Helios member).
Your goal is to spell as many words as possible using the letters. The longer the word, the more points you earn.
When you are ready to post a word, ALL MEMBERS who have a letter in that word will need to be present to participate.
Any member who has a letter in the word will post the phrase:
START WORD
Once that is posted your team will have FIVE MINUTES to spell out the word, 1 letter at a time in your thread. When the word is finished the same person who posted the start phrase will post the finish phrase:
END WORD
If the word is spelled correctly you earn 1 point for every letter in the word. If the word is spelled incorrectly or the word is wrong then it does not count. If you do not finish posting the word and finish phrase within the 5 minute time period it does not count.
Once a word is locked in, the team must wait AT LEAST 30 MINUTES from the END WORD phrase before posting another word. If the word is wrong or you do not finish in the time limit, YOU STILL MUST WAIT THE 30 MINUTE WAIT PERIOD before going again.
Some important rules:
LETTERS CANNOT REPEAT in the word. So you can use at most 1 of each letter in the word.
If a player owns multiple letters they are allowed to post multiple times within a word but they must post different letters as you cannot repeat letters.
Round 1 begins at 2 am est and you have until 2 am est TOMORROW (24 hours) to score as many points as you can. The scores will then be posted.
The team with the most points will win this challenge and earn the power to vote any 2 people from any team into elimination.
The team that loses will have to vote 2 of their own into Elimination.
