This game will have competitors competing as mainly individuals throughout the season. The players will be competing for 1 of 8 keys (4 Challenge Keys and 4 Voting Keys) throughout the season with each type of key earned in 1 of 2 different ways. These keys will be used in the Final Challenge and thus, 8 people this season will be finalists. However, winning a key does not guarantee
It will follow roughly a 3 day format as follows:
Day 1:
Typically after elimination, players will have 24 hours to make an important decision. Each player will vote for any 3 people in the game who will compete in the challenge for that round. Players can vote for any 3 people, including themselves or players who currently hold a key. At the LIVE Vote Reveal, the votes are revealed (who voted who) and the 3 players with the most votes will participate in the challenge. These players will be the only ones who can earn keys in that round. In the event of a tie, any players who have keys will lose the tiebreaker, and if tied between those without keys then only the votes of current keyholders will count and break the tie. If after all that, ties are still in place then a sudden death vote will occur LIVE at the vote reveal to break the tie. They will then discuss a time for the challenge the next day.
Day 2:
The players chosen for the challenge will participate in the Face-Off which will be an elimination style challenge. The winner of the challenge earns safety from Elimination and will earn a key to the Final. They will earn a Challenge Key. In the first 4 rounds, they will earn an unclaimed Challenge Key. From Round 5 and on, the winner of the Face-Off will earn the right to STEAL a key from another play which must be done right after the challenge. The catch is that they can only steal another Challenge Key. The losers of the Face-Off will be up for elimination and be eligible for the Voting Keys and make their pleas to all the remaining players to keep them.
Day 3:
All the players not in the Elimination will vote to eliminate one of the other players. Everyone will then meet at the High Council Court where each player's vote will be revealed as well as their reason why. In the event of a tie, the player who won the challenge has the tiebreaker vote. Their vote will still count as normal but will also be the tiebreaker vote. The player who receives the most votes will be eliminated. If that player was in possession of a Key they must will it to another player who is NOT in possession of a Key. The person who survived against the High Council of all other players will then earn a Voting Key. In the first 4 rounds, they will earn an unclaimed Voting Key. From Round 5 and on, the player who survived the vote will earn the right to STEAL a key from another play which must be done right after the Elimination. The catch is that they can only steal another Voting Key.
Other Rules:
While players can compete in the Face-Off when already in possession of a Key, at NO POINT can a player hold more than 1 Key. If a player earns a 2nd Key either by winning the Face-Off or surviving the vote, they must IMMEDIATELY will it to another player who is not in possession of a key.
Double Elimination Rounds:
Some rounds will be surprise Double Elimination Rounds and those will only be revealed AFTER the Face-Off vote has occurred. In those rounds, the FOUR with the most votes will participate in the Face-Off. From there, 1 wins the challenge while 3 face the vote with only 1 surviving and 2 being eliminated. You will not know when Double Elimination Rounds will occur.
