"Mob Wives" is a docu-soap series which follows the lives of a group of ("according to the federal government") associated women at a crossroads, struggling to establish their own identities and carry on while their loved ones do time for Mob-related activities. Along the way they battle their friends, families and each other as they try to do what's best for themselves, their children, and their future.

This season looks to feature other branches of the mafia extending the frontier outside of just Staten island!: We will also see girls who are connected to The Russian Mafia, Black Mafia, and The Philadelphia Mafia.

Carla Masseria Age:30 race: Italian Hair Color:Black - Her grand father Joe "The Boss" Masseria was murdered at the end of the Castellammarese War after his underboss, Charles "Lucky" Luciano, secretly betrays him. Carla Now works at her own shoe store Name "Killer Hills" she has 2 kids and is a single mother as her husband who cannot be name was recently arrested due to mob related duties. Carla friends Essence and Shanice also works at the store with her they are also have connections to the mob family, But how will Carla react when she learns that the guy who betrayed her father granddaughter (angie) is now moving to new York? Will the get along?

Essence Gigante Age:29/Race:Italian/Hair:Jet Black - Her Father Vincent "Chin" Gigante  the man who attempted to assassinate Frank Costello in 1957. Gigante is convicted on racketeering charges and dies in prison. Essence is well known in New York for her taste in fashion she has traveled around the world and been to many fashion weeks across seas. She is the stylist for "Killer Hills" Which she helped made an "A-list store" with her celeb connects which lead to "Killer Hills" Being put on the Map. Essence looks to start a family soon but her boyfriend Jason isn't ready to tie the knot yet she begins to have suspicion that he is caught up in the mafia a life she tries so hard to run away from. She known Carla and Shanice for over 10 years and built a strong friendship with them even know Essence father tried to kill Shanice grandfather but failed they didn't let this stand in the way of their relationship, But with their lives no one camera and secrets come out how long can their friendship last?

Shanice Costello Age:30/Race:Italian/Hair:Brown - Her Father Frank "the Prime Minister" Costello goes into retirement after a failed assassination attempt orchestrated by Vito Genovese But attempted by Vincent "Chin" Gigante. Shanice is married with two kids but currently is acting a single mother due to her husband Vinnie being in prison for a mob bust that happen a year ago Vinnie is looking to face 10 years in prison without bail. Shanice is dealing with a hard time as she has yet to tell her kids that they will not be seeing their dad anytime soon as her kids about to enter high school Shanice has told her kids that their dad has entered the war not wanting them to know the life that their dad actually lived. Shanice has a good friendship with both Carla and Essence and also works at "Killer Hills" with them. Shanice is also very good friends with Angie who she grew up with during childhood how will her friendship with angie effect her relationship with Carla?
