Here at Ellingston, we have on of the most beautiful Campuses in the world. The green grass and pristine buildings are only a reflection of our lovely community of Faculty and Students. There are many different areas of our Campus and they are all indicated below.
ACADEMIC BUILDINGS
The heart and soul of scholarship in Ellingston resides in these academic buildings. Classes, lectures, and symposiums take place within these structures, and hundreds of thousands of students and faculty alike have passed through their doors since the year of the university's founding. Their are over 13 Academic buildings on Campus, available to all students.
FOOD & DRINK
Everyday Cafe: The Everyday Cafe, or EVK, is a small, local gourmet sandwich shop that is situated in the Ellingston Sciences Faciilty. Students like the Everyday Cafe since they can grab a quick meal before class, or find it a peaceful place to study before an exam. Professors also enjoy frequenting the cafe, and is often a popular spot for professors to have their office hours.
Student Union Market: The Student Market is a large food court within the Student Union Building. Restaurants include Chipotle, Chik-Fil-A, Panda Express, Cookout, Zaxby’s, and Jamba Juice. It’s a favorite spot to hang out with fellow students, get a quick bite to eat, and study.
Pearson Dining Hall: Pearson is the largest dining hall on campus, offering seating for 500 students at once. The eating area is very open and spacious, with a second, floor overlooking the main dining area that doubles as a study space. When the dining hall is closed, it doubles as a study hall, but only for residents of Pearson Residential College.
LITERATURE
Moreau Library: The Elias H. Moreau University Library is a monolithic, multi-story structure with levels far into the basement, and a masterpiece of Georgian architecture. Quiet reading rooms are on every floor for students to use, and on the ground floor is a small cafe for those who need to recharge after hours of poring over texts. The library is home to well over 4.5 million volumes
RECREATIONAL SPACES
Student Life Building: The Howard Verne Student Life Building was a generous donation for the creation of a fully operational fitness facility for the Ellingston University campus. This building has a full three-level workout room of treadmills, fixed weights and free weights, a sizeable pool, racquetball and basketball courts, and a rock climbing wall. Other resources for students can be found in the building, mainly the school pharmacy and clinic.
The Marina: At the foot of Ellingston's campus is Falls Lake, a North Carolina state park reserve. The state government has permitted the university to build a marina for its students to enjoy kayaking or sailing on its beautiful waters.
