CHALLENGES -

There are 20 in-game days to the quest. Each day 4 challenges are completed and for the first fifteen days, each of the four teams will take their own path through the challenges to beat the other teams at the end of, what I call, the Virtue Tasks.

There are fourteen Virtue Tasks and each team must complete all fourteen tasks to prove themselves as capable warriors. Some challenges are safe and there are no penalties for failure, but many challenges, if you fail, will eliminate you from the quest.

Now, this group game uses a model that was created in an EXCEL spreadsheet that simulates the challenges from the show. It has been tried and tested and works amazingly! So do not worry there!

Now, for most of the challenges, I merely need the information from your application. However, some challenges require the team to decide an order of who goes first, how risky a warrior wishes to be, etc. When this is needed, I will message the team through a PM.

JEWELS -

Jewels are your score. Starting from day 2, each team will have six jewels, and in every challenge, you can collect four jewels. At the end of day 15, the team with the most jewels will be granted access to the final stage of the quest and will avoid elimination.

The other teams will then face a perilous task called the Gulley. More on that when it becomes important.

Jewels are not just scores however. For, if a warrior fails in an elimination-challenge, they can be brought back to the team by sacrificing eight of your jewels. This can be done for every warrior on your team, however, each warrior can only be brought back once.

If a warrior fails two elimination challenges between Days 2 and 15, they will be eliminated from the quest.

ELIMINATIONS -

There are many trials where if a warrior fails, they will be punished by watching Spirit Guards, Dead Spirits, Dangerous Traps and even Stone Serpents.

The first time a warrior is taken, the remaining team members will be given the option to either:

Sacrifice 8 Jewels to bring a warrior back.
Keep the Jewels and sacrifice the lost warrior.

Choosing the latter choice will eliminate that warrior from the competition, although your team will be severely weaker for it.

Remember, warriors can only be brought back once. If they are brought back and fail another elimination challenge, they are eliminated from the quest.

NOTES -

Please try to have a team mentality. You are trying to complete a mission, not win a tournament, and while many warriors will be lost along the way, there can be as many winners as there are warriors who make it to the final challenges.

You must consider your team's choices and work as a group, for you are all comrades. This is not Big Brother or Survivor, so do not choose to eliminate a warrior for the sake of doing so. You all want to survive!

THE GULLEY -

At the end of the fifteen days, the three teams who did not score the highest in jewels will face an elimination challenge known as The Gulley.

You do not want to face this trial, as this is the bane of many warriors! Here is a clip of the trial on the actual show on YT -

In this trial, the slower you are, the more likely you are to be picked off. The higher your jewel count, the better headstart you get.
