Twenty-Four Tributes will be summoned to an Arena, where they will fight to the death in a glorious and bloody pageant. In the end, a lone survivor will be crowned as the Victor.

=====

Unlike in Games past, these Games are based in TENGAGED and not in the Fantasy Futuristic Dystopian World created by Suzanne Collins. Thus, we will be doing things a little bit differently:

First and foremost, Tributes are split into teams based on their FRATERNITY, in lieu of Districts. This means for some (If enough members of the Fraternity wish to play) we will end up having legitimate Reapings instead of just every single player getting in.

Secondly, Fraternity Teams are not limited to Tributes. They will also include 3 new Teammates which will include: a Stylist, a Mentor, and an Escort. While it is a requirement to name one for each Category, they are not obligated to assist you in any way shape or form. If they do choose to assist, they may do so in any way they wish, from securing alliances with other Teams, to spamming for votes in the Sponsorships. They may also willingly participate in Interviews to better boost their Frat's status in the eyes of the Viewers.

Thirdly, this is a free-for-all as far as intel goes. Roleplay is out the door in some respects, including the sharing of information BETWEEN castmates. This includes Stylists, Mentors, and Escorts. If you have a bit of advice or information that might help your Tributes out, use it.

The Pre-Games

=====

Casting will open with the following positions capable of being applied for: Tribute and Assistant (Mentor/Stylist/Escort).

In order for a Fraternity to be represented in the Games they must have AT LEAST: 2 Tributes from their Fraternity AND at least 1 Stylist, Mentor, or Escort (ALSO from their Fraternity). Once these 3 requirements have been met, you have solidified your Fraternity a spot in the Games. If more people from your Fraternity apply to participate as Tributes, then you will have a "Reaping" where Random.org will determine your participants.

The "Reaping" will take place two weeks before the actual Games begin. Participants may increase their odds of being Reaped (tesserae) by winning polls and participating in training exercises with the Gamemakers.

For the last two weeks, the Reaped Tributes will be pushed to participate in more training specific to what they will see in the Arena. This means active participation could be the difference between life and death. Your status will be shared publicly in forums, meaning your enemies and allies alike can see what you are doing. As can the Capitol.

One week before the Games begin, the Interviews will start to take place. Interviews are to be done LIVE and may be performed by any and/or all of a Fraternities representative group. At the end of the Interview Week, one day before the Games begin, all Tributes will be removed from the Capitol (VL). The Gamemakers and Hosts will get together and announce the current rankings via the Tribute Scores, which will detail who we think is most likely to become our Victor.

And then ... the Games Begin

The Bloodbath

=====

The first day of the Games, and by far the most important. The Bloodbath is a singular event in which Tributes gather as many supplies as they can. They are all transported around the gorgeous silver horn known as the Cornucopia, which will have any number or quality of supplies laid within or without its body.

Players will be given a list of items which will include their quantity, and how many minutes one must wait before posting for their next item. Normally said supplies will be looped together in large lists, however a more detailed explanation will be provided in a "Bloodbath" Rules Forum: https://tengaged.com/group/8688-brainjaks-hg-rules-and-regulations/forum/topic/25497892

The Bloodbath does not end until each Tribute has "Fled" the Bloodbath. Tributes will have options to even stay in the Cornucopia afterwards, though any deaths which occur there directly after will be counted with the original Bloodbath Toll.

=====

As each day ends, the anthem will play, and the deceased Tributes will be shone into the Night Sky for all players to see. Once both Tributes have died from a given Fraternity, they will be free to join the Capitol.

The Hunger Games

=====

Following the Bloodbath, Tributes will be free to explore their new temporary home. Once every hour they are free to move in a cardinal direction (North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, Northwest) so long as they do not strike against the barrier. If someone is going offline, he or she may leave their Tribute walking in a certain direction, specifying how many hours (or movements) they want their Tribute to trek.

If a Tribute approaches the Barrier, they will stop moving and wait there for the Player to resume control. TOUCHING THE BARRIER = DEATH. Just so everybody is clear.

In each individual "Zone" of the map, players can find all sorts of secrets, mutts, and survivalist goods. Use the Arena to your advantage, in every way possible. Players should pay special attention to the skills available to them prior to making a character. Some may be useless in certain Arenas, but all of them are applicable in some way.

Please Note: Gamemakers may cause events to occur if the Games begin to dull or become too boring, wiping out portions of the map or forcing Tributes together.

Tributes who locate one another may interact in any way they wish. Some Tributes will automatically have the upper hand thanks to stealthy sneak attacks, traps, etc. Others will prefer to fight head-on in glorious deathmatches. Each individual's strength is up to them.

At the end of each day, the Anthem will play and the dead will appear in the night sky as before. If nobody has died, the anthem will play with no faces appearing.

The Arena

=====

The Environment can kill you just as well as your opponents. Whether starvation, freezing, burning, or just the Mutts in the foliage. Everything in the Arena can be deadly. Do not tempt the Gamemakers with a good time.

Time passes relatively quickly, with in-game days normally lasting about 4-6 hours tops. Anything longer is asking way too much of people. HOWEVER this is only the moving portion of the Games. Players can still participate, gather supplies in their environment, or even locate one another during the 'quiet time' of the Games. Meaning you could wake up to find you've gone from the top 16 to the top 5 if people are still active.
