"Today in North Korea there are over 200,000 citizens who are subjected to rape, torture, hard labor, starvation, death, experimentation, and other inhumane acts. It is estimated that as many as 1,600,000+ people have perished in these concentration camps. As an international supporter of democracy it is incredibly regrettable that our government ignores the cries of the thousands suffering in Nazi-like camps throughout the entire nation. If one breaks the law in North Korea they not only face certain death in these camps, but there family as well. There are thousands of children born into a life in these camps. How can we as Americans sit at home in good confidence when thousands suffer? We are so quick to demonize injustice but slow to act."
